I’m confused by your response. This issue ONLY occurs after I have updated the Anti-Spam plug in – so code in the plugin probably was modified. I would be happy to send the file for analysis as I took pictures but was unsure where to send them and to whom as there are no upload features on this support page.

I am very unlikely to install https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/security-malware-firewall/ unless is a very good reason to do so. I have paid for the Anti-Spam plug-in and would like a more understandable answer.

For some reason this same issue happens often with Anti-Spam CleanTalk. Sometimes re-installing works, sometimes it doesn’t – that is the WordFence scan still picks up an issue.

The problem with an “often occurs” issue like this is that the WordPress owner and others get complacent and then when an issues – one isn’t paying any attention.

And, I notice that none of the other plugins I use have had this on-going problem, only Anti-Spam – a plugin I really love.

If there is any way you folks at CleanTalk can remedy this situation I would appreciate it.

RESOLVED – I tried this before but I must have made a mistake. The answer was to be sure my name and email fields were the same on both the FORM and MAIL tabs. Thanks as I found the clue to my issue on this forum.

I haven’t changed anything though on this form and it was working – am curious how it “changed itself” – does anyone have an idea of why a change in two the field names might happen without my actually making the change?

awrco2001 – I didn’t use the plug-in. I preferred to have my users have the choice. I would like the wording to be a bit more clear though for the average viewer. I’m actually thinking of doing away with a contact form altogether and simply listing my email address “written out” name [at] domain [dot] com

Thank you. Could you tell that by the network Development tools?

I didn’t realize – that my stats would be affected by DNT visitors.

I am planning on adding more plugins: PayPal, maybe Google Analytics and SEO Yoast and others ….

Is there a resource that would help me understand this all a bit better, so that as my site grows, I understand the repercussions?

Am I on the right track here ….

In one browser I activated the DNT and in another I didn’t. I went the same website in both browsers and then opened the Network Information Developer’s Tools – in the one without the DNT on I saw well over 200 “gets” … versus in the one where the DNT looks to be honored I saw only 4 to six …. lines for images … I can assume here that the DNT is being honored?

On my own site I also saw a lot of gets …. I take it with the plugin I should be able to see zero network gets?

Thank yoiu. I had activated the DNT before, but not using any Developers Tools.

I tried using FireFox (DNT activated) and went to Developers Tools and then Network and it gave me a bunch of readouts. Can you tell me what I am suppose to look for, I don’t know what it means or how to read it. Or, is there a resource you can point me to?

I’m using the Weaver II theme and they have a bunch of sub themes.

They share the words, ” View more Weaver II Subthemes and Child Themes “
I’ve installed the Weaver II theme and selected the sub theme “blank canvas” … so I was thinking this was the same thing as a child theme. I’m sensing it isn’t as there would be a place to modify the child theme.

The CSS hasn’t been touched – I’m thinking that perhaps I create the child theme there …

Hoping someone can supply some clarity here.
