nope–didn’t work. I tried to trackback to a post just by using the permalink, and nothing happened…

Really? In 1.2, when you clicked on “trackback this post,” it took you to a page where you saw the trackback URI for the post, which usually looked something like this:

Are you saying that the trackback URI is now just the permalink URL, like this?

You want users to be able to trackback your posts, right? And that’s not working. The same thing is happening to me–on my blog, the “trackback this post” link leads to the permalink page.

no, that is not proper, and my trackbacks aren’t working, either–when I click on “trackback this post,” it doesn’t give users a URI to trackback to. What is going on??????

I like your site, and the photo header is a beautiful shot. If I were you, though, I would consider shrinking it down a bit–on a 1024-768 resolution, it takes up about 60% of the browser window (that’s way too much, imo). I would aim for 30% at the most, keeping in mind that it will look even bigger on an 800×600 resolution.

I like your design, but I find your orange-on-red text hard to read. Remember the design principle of contrast!

yeah, I’m getting a ton of new spam, too–and it’s of a more sexual nature than the poker spam I used to get.

is there some way that these spam sites know when we’ve upgraded?

have you updated the permalink structure? and then copied and pasted the text that WP gives you after you update it into a text file called .htaccess? and have you then re-ftp’ed the .htaccess file to the root of your site?
