I have the exact same issue except I’m using bluehost instead of MediaTemple to host my WordPress stie. Also I bought my domain name from Wix instead of Go Daddy, perhaps a bad decision given hindsite.
I went to the domain manager for my Wix page and changed the IP address on the A (Host) entries to the bluehost IP address listed in the DNS Zone Editor, but nothing seems to have happened. When I go to https://www.exploreplanetearth.org/WordPressTrial/wp-admin I just get directed to my Wix homepage.
Any suggestions?! What am I missing here?
