that did fix the format, thanks. but i want the email to be sent weekly, with all the new posts from that week. again, in html-excerpt format.

the goal here is to send subscribers an excerpt of current posts in html format. the goal, really is to send all emails in the same html format, but from what i’m understanding, subscribe2 is limited in that area, yes?

so……. how do i get it out of digest mode? not sure how it even changed over to digest mode in the first place.

also, it now does not use what i have entered in ‘subject line’ which should be ‘Your Legal Corner Blog Alert’. the subject of the email comes thru as the generic ‘[BLOGNAME] Weekly Digest Email’. this also worked before i changed the ‘Auto-subscribe users to receive email as’ to html-excerpt.

also, the wordpress version i’m using is 3.3.1, not 3.1.1 if that helps

actually, before i selected ‘html-excerpt’ it was sending full html emails. it sent 3 in total: html full preview, plain text excerpt preview, and html excerpt preview. both html emails were sent with the html code that i had enter (iow the image in the table with specified font colors as well). now it only sends 1 email when i click on send preview email and it comes as ‘digest preview’ no matter what i have selected for ‘Auto-subscribe users to receive email as’. btw, if public subscribers only receive plain text excepts as you said, why is there an option for html emails under ‘Auto-subscribe users to receive email as’?
