In reply to: [Storefront] Product Title DisplayHi @anastas10s
I submitted that feature. Thank you for that link.
I am always happy to learn. It’s great when I get help from supportive people. It’s a big downer when you sometimes get a reply like “hire a developer” with no other insight into the issue or if my request is too big.
I’m lucky to have more positive support experiences though which is great.
Thanks again. I will mark the thread as resolved.

In reply to: [Storefront] Product Title DisplayHi @anastas10s
It’s a shame this feature does not appear within the “Products (Beta)” block.
I will have to keep this option on the back burner as it would require me to rebuild 82 pages which have a wide variety of products on each.
The code provided previously does solve my issue from what I can see. Do you know of any issue it could cause to recommend your alternative solution?
Thanks for providing the solution all the same.

In reply to: [Storefront] Product Title DisplayHi @carolm29
Just so I am clear. The code you provided here
.wp-block-post-title a {
min-height: 50px;
}Will fix my issue on all other pages mentioned above.
but I will need the code below
.woocommerce ul.products li.product .woocommerce-loop-product__title { min-height: 50px; }
to fix what I call the “core pages” (shop/categories/etc), correct?
Edit: Other than what’s mentioned above, I do not notice anything else being changed.

In reply to: [Storefront] Product Title DisplayHi @carolm29
Yes I got the code form this support thread. It was very long so didn’t want to open it again and wreck anyone’s head.
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/image-fit-text-placement/
Regarding the initial goal, I wanted to make sure the add to cart buttons always line up. I have just added new thumbnails to all images 600 x 600 to solve my image problem (their sizes are all over the place) and this is the final thing to make them all uniform.
Ah yes. This will work on the shop page and the other “core” pages as I call them but I would like them to work on my own pages as well i.e.
the pages within this section https://desw2.sg-host.com/religious-gifts/
example-https://desw2.sg-host.com/angel-gifts/
here https://desw2.sg-host.com/categories/
example- https://desw2.sg-host.com/rosaries/
and here https://desw2.sg-host.com/saints/
example-https://desw2.sg-host.com/saint-anne-gifts/
Note: I just realised that since I migrated my site to different servers the links I had in the images within the links above do not work. So you might have to use the main menu which is the same thing.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Shipping OptionsOK that’s great. I appreciate your time and recommendation.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Shipping OptionsHi @anastas10s Yes, the inclusion of Africa at that time should be ignored. It was during a testing phase when I had multiple variations of this saved under different countries so.
Yes, I did go through a lengthy thread of support with their team (Jeroen Sormani) and they are great, the plugin is great but I think my needs where a little too much. Hench my request for recommendations for other options that anyone knows of that might be the ultimate plugin option.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Shipping OptionsHi @carolm29
The conditions I had in the past where as follows:
These are the conditions that are perfect for royal mail but it’s like I needed further conditions for exceptions like the example I mentioned before where the size of the items would make them qualify for a small parcel but the weight being too low (because they are light items) it couldn’t be considered for any option.
Note: I am still using this plugin but not with these conditions. I just use weight related conditions (if less than 19kg) which are not ideal as they provide more than one option in some cases like the UK. The customer just needs to pick the cheapest one.
I am not sure if it’s worth anyone’s time to help me but I thought I would just try my luck before we go live as a last resort.
Sorry if this is a waste of time.

In reply to: [Storefront] Basket “Re-add” issuehi @anastas10s
As far as I know, all the updates were up to date at the time of posting the issues. I have few outstanding now which I need to review but they relates to “flexible shipping, google site kit and WooCommerce Shipping & Tax” but they are unlikely to be causing this issue I think?
Worth noting, I did have an issue with the tabs in my main menu and some elements within the check out (you can see this in the screen shot) where little buttons are appearing strangely. It has some how fixed itself.
But anyway, regarding how my homepage is built.
I use mega menu for my menus.
Otter blocks for basic text and images.
And a plugin called smartslider. This is used for the banner, and the sliders of products you see. Note: I did add in a specific URL so they could be added to the basket from here. Could that be it?
Hopefully this gives you an insight. You time is much appreciated.

In reply to: [Storefront] Basket “Re-add” issueHi there @carolm29
Not sure if this is related but I noticed the checkout and nav menu are glitching as well now.

In reply to: [Storefront] Basket “Re-add” issueHi @carolm29
I have that setting enabled but I have also included a link to a short video showing the bug.
Image of setting enabled
Video of bug
It would seem that the bug is related to me adding to the cart via my homepage.
I have included a second video link below that just shows the adding to cart via homepage vs my other product pages. It seems to have a slight glitch in not showing/updating the basket live.
Thanks very much for your time so far.

In reply to: [Storefront] Image Fit + Text PlacementOh my sweet Jesus. You have no idea how happy this makes me.
After a rough week of fixing one thing and breaking another two. This is finally getting the site into a good starting point to go live.
You’re a legend. The whole team and support crew here. Thanks again so very much.

In reply to: [Storefront] Image Fit + Text PlacementHi again, not sure if this will get picked up but I would love help on this final issue. I mentioned it above but it got lost in all the other parts.
If you view https://matthewm288.sg-host.com/candles/
You’ll see the images appear a little better but there is clearly a space on the left hand side. I think this is caused by the sidebar.
Can this be fixed?
Hi @mej
Thanks for this.
I need a filter for some of my pages.
Since it has to go in the sidebar this means pages that do not require a filter/widget end up with this big space.
All I have found out so far is that I either need custom code in a child theme (which themes don’t like) or a plugin, which doesn’t seems to exist.
I think I will just have to bite the bullet and stick a custom filter/widget on all pages to get rid of my blank space issue.
Thanks very much for your time and effort so far. Your plugin does seem to be very good.
