I rolled back to version 3.48 and the login error disappeared.

Some questions if is not much trouble:
1. The change log treat the versions as 2.2x but the actual builds are 3.xx. How do I know which build correspond to version 2.20?
2. How can I know that the problem has been fixed so I can update the plugin again?
3. Are you releasing a WP 6.1.1 tested version ?

Thanks for your answer.
The category functionality of the legacy widget was useful, but Link Library has much more many options.
I tried the category configuration but it does not show the links. It could be good to have a link categories option that show the links in a accordion menu fashion.
So a link to a full link library page will do in the mean time.

The problem in my site, the default is that ‘all’ pages are protected and only some are open to the public (independently to user registration).
This was done setting ‘protected content’ to “is a page”. This is very convenient so I do not need to protect each single page.

So the question is:
If I set up a protected default to “is a page”, how do I open specific pages to all public?

Thanks very much for the help.
After some checking the problem seem to originate in the “WordPress.com Editing Toolkit” plugin by Automattic. After disabling the plugin the editing is back to normal.
I will report in the plugin forum for a fix as you suggest.
