In reply to: [Index WP MySQL For Speed] Page load time is too slowI followed your advice and … I HONESTLY CANNOT EXPRESS MY GRATITUTE!
The difference is day and night! Absolutely mind blowing I’m not exaggerating. Page load time went from 20 seconds (sometimes 40 seconds I’m not kidding) to 2 – 3 seconds!!
Our server has 32 G of RAM so I checked how much we’ve been using in the past and it never exceeded 7GB. So I set innodb_buffer_pool_size to 1128 M.
I’ve been researching for a way to fix the slow page load for more than a year! Tried so many things, almost gave up and honestly my team have lost faith in me. You, gave me a priceless advice. Our webhost company couldn’t do anything as well. Thank you so much! You’re genius and fantastic IT specialist.
Accept my kind regards,
Mohammed Kadhim

MohammedHello @unitize, @stevejburge, @rizaardiyanto
I’d really appreciate if you guys can please update this thread with the solution once the issue is fixed. I’m still struggling with the issue this plugin is causing to my site.
Since me and @unitize share the exact same issue, the solution on his site will probably work on mine.
Kind regards.
The issue wasn’t solved the author requires me installing specific menu plugin to replicate the issue which I don’t have time to test on my site.
Please if you could find a way to fix it let me know.
Hello @rizaardiyanto
Theme is Sahifa by Tielabs
Kindly note that the problem can be replicated with any theme that has Mega Menu feature which shows Sub categories + posts within the main menu.

Thanks for your reply.
The problem is fixed and it wasn’t an issue with WordFence and I’ll explain below how it got fixed.
When I updated PHP to 8.1 Apache got bugged and started randomly throwing error 500 especially when executing resource intensive process such as the Firewall optimization process by WordFence.
All I had to do is restart php_fpm and Apache and things are working fine now. I managed to optimize WordFence without issue.
Big thanks to you in fact I wouldn’t go through these steps without you notifying me about phpinfo() which wasn’t disabled in phpini but only then I realized that the server is bugged and needed restart.
Thank you!
Thank you for the reply.
Indeed!, it either working fine or doesn’t. Can’t be something in middle. But as strange as it sound, when I get error 500 I keep refreshing the page a couple times and it work. But again when I refresh once more the website stops again.
Also not sure why this happened after going from php 7.4 to 8.1.
Regarding Diagnostics data, I’ve already sent it to the email you suggested yesterday. But also sent the data once more a couple moments ago including my forum username “mohammedkadhim” just so that you can easily find it.
Kindly note that currently WordFence is enabled but without optimization since, as mentioned, it will break the website.
Appreciate your help,
Mohammed Kadhim

Thank you so much for your input! I’ve tried everything from disabling all plugins and choosing the default theme but nothing worked. I’ve even tried Honeypot as a replacement to recaptcha v3 but nothing worked at all. But then I read your comment and simply regenerated the recaptcha key and it finally worked. Thanks!Mohammed Kadhim
@martinjstephens
I tried multiple solutions none worked for me. The last thing I tried is updating to the most recent version 3.0.15 which supposedly have cpanel login disabled but still stuck at step 1.The only solution that worked so far is downgrading to version 2.2
