I wouldn’t even consider holding it against him, it is a clever scheme, and I appreciate that. I simply wished to note how insecure it made me feel.

I resolved this issue fairly quickly and honestly forgot I had this thread open, sorry. I’m pretty sure this was entirely my fault, I made a mistake on the pages tab in the WooCommerce settings.

I overcomplicated a very simple problem, to change the max display number go to Settings > Reading and change the value of Syndication feeds show the most recent __ items.

This did not seem to help at first because wordpress only refresh feeds every 12 hours.

That problem can be fixed by adding
add_filter( 'wp_feed_cache_transient_lifetime', create_function('$a', 'return 1800;') );
to the function.php file, this will make wordpress refresh feeds every 30 minutes.

After some experimentation I have found that when using the theme responsive if you place the filter in the function.php page of the theme files it will work correctly.

I really like this plugin and am still using it. But I would like to offer a word of caution, if you are using the theme responsive DO NOT add this filter, you will not be able to update any of your files, pages or posts, or access the admin login page. The only way I was able to fix this is by deleting the function.php page from my child theme and recreating it with out this function.
