In reply to: [Print Invoice & Delivery Notes for WooCommerce] Fatal ErrorThanks very much for the reply. This is a little above my expertise level. If I delete and re-download the plugin would that resolve the issue, as well? (I’m just not sure what I’m replacing and how to replace it. Sorry. php moron here.)

In reply to: Woocommerce Plugin for Mail Order BusinessThanks, Tarnya. Those all look interesting. I am investigating a program called Sales Binder that integrates with woocommerce and might be a good solution. It’s hard to know what will work until you’ve actually taken the plunge.

In reply to: SNAP skipped Facebook postUgh. Took me all day to figure this — easy! — one out.
Yes, white screen of death. I’ve — fortunately — fixed it since I asked for support a week ago. (Had to rename the htaccess file.) I’ve since deleted the plugin. Thanks for asking, though.
I deactivated those two plugins and published a new post. How will i know if the problem was resolved?
Will do.
I do a friday photo called Today in Town … I wonder if the trouble there is that there are a few posts with the same name.
Changing themes? That seems very scary to me. Can I do that without losing everything?
I deactivated a bunch of plugins, but still couldn’t access the feed. I think I’m doing it willy-nilly, though.
I’m not sure which plugins affect the permalinks. Can you tell me which to deactivate?

YARPPAlso, I got this when I took a look at the error logs as you suggested:

Again, I appreciate your help on this.
Yay. Fixed the White Screen of Death. Now just need to solve that other mystery.
Thanks so much for your response.
The permalinks setting in the dashboard is set to “post name”:

Actually, when I clicked on one of the email “read more” links just now, I got another Page Not Found:
https://www.themysticwave.com/today-in-town-6/Grrr. So confusing and aggravating.
I’ll check the server error logs so see if I can figure out the plugin issue. I like that the name White Screen of Death. That’s exactly what it feels like!
Anyone? I think it might have to do with permalinks, although with that phrase I’ve exhausted my knowledge of the subject.
I don’t want to start messing around with the permalinks (since I don’t know what I’m doing) unless I have to.
The other issue is that, after reading the home page posts, when a reader chooses “older posts” the page goes to white.
Can anyone point me in the general direction to solving either of these?
Many thanks.
Molly
https://www.themysticwave.comThanks so much, qqqq9999. That totally fixed my issue. Darn that Yoast. I haven’t seen a fix, but I have seen a lot of questions/issues on the various boards about this issue.
I’m having a hard time figuring out how to do the excerpt in Catalyst. Sigh. Rethinking whether or not I need people to subscribe to the site just to get an email with an excerpt that links to the site. Or am I just rationalizing the fact that I don’t want to figure all this stuff out? I agree with David in the link you sent: everything is easier if there is just a box to tick. Now, if you could just intuit what I want those boxes to say.
