Hello Gillman,
the issue has been fixed on version 1.2.18.
The option to edit labels will come in a next update. Meanwhile, if you don’t want the “Blog” link to appear, you can just empty the field “Author link” from the author profile, so no link will appear. Another option would be to go back to version 1.2.16.
Thank you very much.

The Molongui TeamHello Gillman,
thank you for pointing that out. It has been fixed on version 1.2.18.
Thank you very much.

The Molongui TeamHello Gillman,
we have found the bug causing the issue you point out on first place and we will be releasing an update in a few hours.
About the change we made on the behavior of author name’s link, we have planned to add an option to allow you to change the label of the link, so instead of “Blog”, it will display whatever you set. Hopefully, you will like this solution.
Regards,
The Molongui TeamHi,
please, use the contact form on our website to privately indicate us your email address. We will send you an installer of previous version.
About the issue you are experiencing, we are not sure what might be happening. We have made some tests and it works well. It might be some interference with another plugin, but cannot tell. We will keep looking into it.
Using the same form where you can indicate your email, please, let us know which plugins are being used in your website. Also, please, paste a screenshot of the guest users in your site, so we can have more clues.
EDIT: The “Blog” thing is not the cause of your issue.
Thank you very much.

The Molongui TeamHi PanoGraph,
could you provide us the link to your website so we can check?
When you say “Author page”, what do you exactly mean, “archive author page (from WP)” or “archive guest author page”? Archive author page for guest authors is a premium feature, but surely it should not throw any “not found” error.
Please, let us know so we can check.
Thank you.
Regards,
The Molongui TeamHi Jeannine,
we are happy to announce that the plugin update we have uploaded today, in its premium version, implements the “Guest Author Archive” feature, which shows all posts from a guest author listed in a single page (just like WordPress does with registered users).
If you want to purchase the premium version, please, visit: https://molongui.amitzy.com/product/authorship/
Thank you very much.

The Molongui TeamHi Leemack,
the Molongui Authorship plugin does not require the use of any shortcode. In fact, shortcodes are only available with the Premium version of the plugin.
I don’t know how AccessPress Anonymous Post works, but I guess that you are right when you say that shortcode is not the cause of the problem. In fact, it is not a post page. You should look just into posts. If there is no shortcode there that you inserted, forget about shortcodes being the cause of your issues.
Anyway, if you are suspicious AccessPress Anonymous Post is causing you trouble, try to deactivate it and check if your problems persist. If not, you have found the culprit.
When you enable the debug mode, you enable it on the whole site, but you should just check a post from the frontend. If there is any PHP message, you will see it on the top of the page (normally… it could also appear anywhere else, though).
Regards,
The Molongui TeamHi Leemack,
if deactivating our Molongui Authorship plugin doesn’t solve your issue, it means that it has nothing to do with it, so the plugin IS NOT causing any issue.
With that said, I would suggest you turn on debug mode. What you describe might be related with some PHP error.
Also, are you using any shortcode within the post? If so, try removing it to check if the problem persists. If not, you have found the culprit.
You could also try to deactivate other plugins (used in post pages and one by one) and check if the problem persists. If you find the culprit, you should contact the plugin developer.
Hope this helps!

The Molongui TeamHi Leemack,
is the footer being displayed, though?
What is the behavior on standard post pages (those created by a registered user using WP edit page, not the plugin you mentioned). Do they show the author box and the comments section?
What happens if you deactivate our plugin, is the post page displayed properly (with the comments section and so on)?
Regards,
The Molongui TeamHi Jeannine,
right now (v.1.2.16), I’m afraid there is no such option. Anyway, it is on our roadmap and it should be implemented in the next update.

Hi PanoGraph,
as you well say, that’s not the best solution, because following updates will remove your changes. Anyway, don’t worry, as we weren’t aware of “Orram” iconfonts, but now we are, we will rename our iconfonts so no future coincidences may appear.
Thank you very much for pointing this incompatibility out.
Regards,
The Molongui TeamHi PanoGraph,
could you provide the link of your live site so we can check, please?

The Molongui TeamHi Suburbanexile,
kind of difficult trying to guess what the issue may come from without any link to check… We have checked and haven’t been able to reproduce the problem you describe. Anyway, could you tell us what theme are you using?
Please, provide a screenshot where we can see the issue. It might bring some light.
Thank you.
Regards,
The Molongui TeamHi Jeremy,
please, update plugin to the latest version (1.2.13, right now). It should work fine now.
