It just SAID IO error, but I just tried it to be sure of the exact wording, and now it works.
Thanks. Not sure – maybe FF was afraid I’d start using IE and fixed itself….you know how those little people in the computer are.

REALLY appreciate you taking time to help. Hope I can pay it forward sometime.

If by ‘get to the web’ you mean get online, yes. I can get to my dashboard fine, all else seems fine. I’ve tried both uploaders, and I can insert images that are already in my media library, just not new ones. It’s not any specific image, because I’ve tried several different types.

However, I did try Internet Explorer as the browser and it works. So is it a setting in FF? I do not like IE.

    Also-
I’m using FF, allowed popups, and running Vista. If that matters.

    thanks.

Same problem as everyone else when I updated to 2.7, but did the suggestion of missingrid (settings > misc > store uploads in this… and deleted what was there. Both fields are blank, saved and now it works! Thanks!! It didn’t restore all the old pictures, but at least I can put them back in.

Next time I’m waiting AWHILE before I upload a new version! So they get the kinks out first.

Hostgator is my favorite. Have had many providers, keep coming back to hostgator-it’s Linux, has 2 easy site builders if you need it, 3 blogging platforms to choose from, insourced great service, and you get free templates from Template Monster. The owner makes himself available even. No. I don’t work for them. Use the link above and you get 20% off . Hope that helps.
