Actually I JUST had this issue last night & found a solution taht really works — you’ll need to delete all the posts & comments, then export your Blogger blog, then use the Blogger xml to WordPress wxr converter I found here. It outputs the file as wordpress-wxr.html, just change the file extension from .html to .wxr and upload to WordPress – works like a charm!

Try the Move Comments plugin. It’ll be tedious, but it’ll get them where they belong… You’d have to move them individually. At least, I *think* that might work….

Hey shauno, just wanted to say thanks for this bit of code! Really helps. I’d like to post these instructions on my site as a How-To — with credit to you obviously. Do you have a website I should link to, or do you just want me to link to your plugin or WordPress profile?

I used a subdomain (test1.mysite.com) and installed a fresh wordpress instance there. You have to manually change the settings once in WordPress to allow search engines to crawl your site, so don’t worry about getting hit for dupe content while you’re working on that.

I’m not sure about picasa — though I imagine it would work. They aren’t hosted directly with Blogger. Perhaps someone else can confirm that for you!
