This is the only one I am not sure about. I can’t find any setting using left menu ‘edit application’ then application setting ‘edit’ regarding this …

BUT on the wall page under options I have the following set –> (see image here)

So I think all are true, but I just can’t seem to get it to work.

Not sure if I did the link right. I am probably in way over my head.

I guess making a fan page might work, but then I have to get all my people to re-sign up etc.

Re: comments, yes I am. I just thought some readers may get to the bottom of the post and not know to go up and click on the title to get to the single post page. I have add a bit of code to the footer, with a %permalink% tag, that will work.

Re: Check permissions:

When you visit the “check permissions” link, does it show that the correct permissions have been granted for the page?

It seems I was incorrect above. The page ID for the app is not listed under one I am admin of. However, i have added the application tab to the fanpage.

I reset the secret key and reinstalled it all. Any ideas?

Regarding the comment form showing up, I understand and did realise that the comments showed on the single post view. However, on a regular post within the blog there is usually a comments link to click on so that you can get to the single post at the bottom. No big deal, I just thought readers might not ‘get’ it.

I thought maybe it was a plugin problem. So I deactivated all the plugins and reactivated just wpbook.

The comments from fb showed up.

I did find one plugin that interfered and deleted it (WP security scan).

However, the only way I can get fb comments to show up is to deactivate and then activate the wpbook. Any comments posted during that time will show up when the plugin is reactivated.

A bit odd … I wish I could figure out how to fix it.

Post going to my personal profile wall, but not to the application wall.

No comments from my wall are going to the blog.

I am having trouble with the Tab –> the ‘add to your page’ function doesn’t work.

I don’t have the ‘add profile tab’ button on my canvas page (https://apps.facebook.com/mommyknows/ as you mentioned.

I do have the ‘Enable Facebook users to add your app to their profile’ toggled on in the wpbook setup

And

I have ‘users’ toggled in the profile tabs area in the application settings.

I have this in the tab url: ?app_tab=true&fb_force_mode=fbml

It is possible to add the tab in a very long process –> go to application (ok the app), then go to acct, applications, edit setting, add tab.

I have so many people complaining.

Thanks to WakeupNaptown it is working for me too. I add the code above to my css … it didn’t work.

I deactivated all my plugins … it worked.

Reactivated one by one and it is still working.

So … deactivate and then reactive plugins one by one to see if that is the culprit.

I downloaded and installed the plugin today … but commenters are getting this error when they post a comment.
