In reply to: [Slideshow Gallery LITE] [Plugin: Slideshow Gallery] BrokenI checked the plugin in an online host and it works fine. the problem was indeed with XAMPP and timthumb, not the plugin.
thanx to antonie for his great support.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Slideshow Gallery LITE] [Plugin: Slideshow Gallery] Brokenhi Antonie
thanx for the prompt reply.
i am running on my own laptop using XAMPP. the files do exist specially the one i mentioned which is the sample file provided with the plugin. I think too that it could be a problem with permissions but as this is the url of the problematic page
https://localhost:81/wp/wp-content/plugins/slideshow-gallery/vendors/timthumb.php?src=wp-content/plugins/slideshow-gallery/screenshot-1.png&w=500&h=500&q=100&a=t
which is in the same domain as the image i really can not find the problem!
once again thanx for your help.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Slideshow Gallery LITE] [Plugin: Slideshow Gallery] BrokenHi
I seem to have quite the same problem as robscott even though i am running 1.2.3.2 and it is about a year after this discussion but the problem seems to be there still. I am running my sample website on my own machine on windows, according to phpinfo() i do have GD enabled i also checked php.ini just to be sure.
i also tried the workaround provided for robscott to change the gallery.php to the code provided by antonie but that didnt work either!
the response i get for checking the sample provided by the plugin is:
“
A TimThumb error has occured
The following error(s) occured:Could not find the internal image you specified.
Query String : src=wp-content/plugins/slideshow-gallery/screenshot-1.png&w=500&h=500&q=100&a=t
TimThumb version : 2.8.10
“.
any help is much appreciated!
ps: the plugin works fine except from the image resizing.
