I did what you said and went to the database. The wp-posts table said “in use” (all others in the list had data showing). When I hovered the mouse over it in the list in the left sidebar it said it was marked as “crashed”. I tried performing a repair, and it worked! No longer says “in use,” data is back, dashboard shows 649 posts and the blog now works fine! THANK YOU!

Well I went to settings/permalinks, changed nothing and clicked save. It said “permalink structure updated” but the dashboard still shows no posts or pages. Is that what you meant by regenerating permalink structure? Sorry to be obtuse but I am not really an expert, however I greatly appreciate your help. Something is quite wrong.

Jasonkong, I have cleared in “prerferences, advanced.” But how do I do the others? And why would the pages not appear in Safari if it is truly a browser problem? Can you see the pages, for example if you click on “Unplugged Project,” can you see it?

Just checked the pages in Safari and they are gone. All say “Not Found.” The posts are still there but something terrible is happening! Help please!

Are you having this problem in the Firefox browser? My posts have disappeared in Firefox, but the blog is completely there in Safari.

I love the plugin, but I haven’t been able to get the thumbnails to work either.

1) cache is writable (777)
2) host has required PHP version and GD library (I checked with them)

This may be a dumb question, but I use images that are stored in Picasa in my posts, rather than the WP image library. Is that why the thumbnails aren’t working?

PS. My blog is https://www.unplugyourkids.com, and my plugin version is 1.5.1.

The links are not visible any more, but there was all this odd code in the post linking to kintera.org (not a website I have ever heard of before). The links were in the post itself when viewed with a browser. They were not visible in the post editor in either the html or visual mode.

I did try clearing the cache but that had no effect on the issue, and the problem was occurring in two different browsers on my laptop anyway (Safari and FF).

Now that the laptop has been turned off and back on, all is OK. I guess it must be something to do with the browsers? I just don’t really understand why two separate browsers would be affected and why this website that I’ve never heard of or been to before would be all over the page.

I guess it is a non-issue now that it has fixed itself, but I am just wondering about it and trying to learn.

Just switched the laptop back on and checked and the post displays normally on that now too. Am still concerned about the kintera links coming and going though. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you!

OK, very odd. I just switched computers and the post displays fine in Firefox and Safari on this one. But where are all the kintera.org links coming from on my laptop?

Duh!!! It was the Firefox ad-on Adblock that was causing this! I disabled it and all is well.

I have tried deactivating recently installed plugins as well as manually building new sitemap (with Google xml-sitemaps plugin) but nothing works. Every time I click a link from Google all I get is my blog header and sidebars, etc. but no post at all. Any thoughts? This is a bad problem and I don’t know what to do! Thank you!
