Thanks. I had it set on that in “reading”. I’m still not used to the latest version of WP yet. On feedly, the feed put out 38 words or so. Seems right.

Hmmm. It happened right after I replaced the Networked Blogs widget with a new one that accounts for the site’s new feed. All those directory links were underneath the footer at the time. All that stuff jumped into the sidebar. Then, I gave those links a widget of their own hoping it would fix the problem. Maybe it’s just too many widgets. The div’s should all be lined up well.

Thanks. To make life much much easier, I deleted all the multisite code. It will be three separate installs in three directories. So far it works. I configured the template for the main site and copied the front page over. About 200 more pages to go. Hopefully the rss will import for the blog. It’s a static Thingamablog blog that passes all rss standard checks. We’ll see, but that’ll be a different thread. I’ll keep your info on hand in case more problems come up.

It’s installed in the root, “public_html” as a multisite network. The dashboard of the site for the main folder works. It just doesn’t seem to publish. Another problem is that the subdirectory sites I set up give 404 errors whenever I go to their dashboards. wp-config and htaccess are both supposedly configured properly according to all the tutorials I’ve seen. htaccess did get wiped randomly at one point, but I deleted it and reuploaded it and it looks fine.
