Thank you for your answer. When I try to make a database in MySQL Database with the same name as before, it says the database already exists…this might be an error of the cPanel because I don’t see the database…or maybe I don’t have full rights.

The problem is I can’t see the database, but it exists if it gives e that overwriting error (image below with information_schema)

However, what you really need to do here is to go to cPanel and get the previous database name, table_prefix, SQL user and password to add in wp-config.php so you can simply use what you already had.

or what you are telling me here is to install a new database and change in the wp-config.php the new database name, table_prefix, SQL user and password?

No, you will likely just get an error message saying it already exists.

I’m trying to install it again and indeed it says it already exists. But also it says “Select the checkbox to overwrite all files and continue”….so what comes in my mind, can’t I just check this box, install the database and after that copy the old files into ftp?
