Actually, please disregard the comment about fixing the padding above and below the content and image. If I can just figure out how to move the “learn more” button down I think that will fix the issue.

I removed the first code provided since it didn’t change the height of the slider. I plugged in the new code you provided and it changed the height, but the “learn more” button is still covering the content. I thought that changing the height of the slider would fix that issue, but my assumption was incorrect.

Also, I was hoping the padding would be the same height above and below the content and image, but it appears the space/padding was added below the content and image.

Any advice on how to move the “learn more” button down and create the same amount of padding above and below the content and images?

Again, thank you so much for your help in getting me this far. I couldn’t have fixed this problem along with the others I had without your help.

I’m hoping someone can provide me with instructions on how to make the height of the parallax slider taller? I’ve tried the above instructions, but it didn’t change the height of the slider.

Any help is much appreciated. If needed, please visit fedfis.com/newsite. You’ll notice that on some of the slides the “Learn More” buttons overlap the content. I’d like to make the slider taller so this doesn’t happen.

Thank you for taking the time to give me instructions on how to fix each of these issues. I was able to get everything fixed!

However, the one thing I had to do that wasn’t mentioned here is go to Settings->Reading and then change “Your latest posts” to “a static page.”

Then:
Front Page: Home
Posts Page: Blog

I followed the instructions and added the code to Custom CSS, hit save, and refreshed the page, but it didn’t change anything. I also tried increasing the height, but that didn’t work either.

Now I’m running into more issues when I do that.

1. I currently have 4 content boxes on my website that were already on the homepage when I started editing it. When I make these changes those boxes disappear and I don’t know how to add them back to the home page.

2. I’m not able to add the parallax or posts slider once I add the bootstrap slider. It only lets me add one for some reason. When I click the drop down to add the additional sliders it doesn’t give me any options and I double checked to make sure they were both enabled. Still couldn’t get it to work.

3. Now at the top left of my home page it says “home/home” whereas before it didn’t say that. It just had the parallax slider below the bootstrap slider.

4. Where the menu buttons where located the background was transparent. Now it’s solid white with no transparency. I double checked the setting as I thought it may have been a bug, but that didn’t fix anything.

I’ll go live with the site tomorrow. It will be much easier for you to help me if you’re able to look at the site. Thanks for all you have done thus far.

WOW, that was easy! Took me about 2 seconds. THANK YOU! Everything I’ve read says I need to change the code in the editor. I completely overlooked theme options. Thanks again!!!
