In reply to: Help! Can’t see or log into all three blogs 6days after 2.7!Thanks for your help, dude. Well, a few days later the bugs are cropping back up again on all the blogs and I need to reinstall the 2.7 upgrade again. I will explore all the options you listed.

In reply to: Help! Can’t see or log into all three blogs 6days after 2.7!After messing around, “re-upgrading” all the blogs with 2.7 again fixed the problem(for now). It will be interesting to see if the same bug crops up again in six days.

In reply to: Help! Can’t see or log into all three blogs 6days after 2.7!Also, unable to login using the wp-admin directory.
I deleted a plugin that was deactiviated which I thought might be causing the problem (image manager), but no luck. Now cuasing this error though:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /hsphere/local/home/cubs50/myutrl/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 151

In reply to: Upgrading from 2.5.1 to 2.6 made my blog disappearUpdate:
I was able to finally access my blog using the emergency.php password reset file at this site:

Great tactic.
I have to say, 2.6 was the buggiest version of WP I have yet seen. I’d like to see more of a focus on supporting a version and refining it rather than adding glitzy new features.

All three blog updates from 2.5.1 to 2.6 had problems. The other two could not be logged into via IE7, only FF. Clearing the cookies did help with logging into those two via IE7. It did *not* help with the site discussed on this page. Still currently locked out of my own blog. Password used is correct. To trouble shoot I have tried to request a new password and when I click or paste in the validation link WP sent via email, I get an “invalid key” error.

I am now running 2.6 but can’t log into the blog via FF or IE7.
When putting my exact settings in the new 2.6 WP config-sample file, my entire database and categories disappear. When I use my old wp-config file from 2.5.1, everything is perfect but I still can’t log in.

In reply to: Upgrading from 2.5.1 to 2.6 made my blog disappearI was able to get my blog to show up, but now I can’t log in via the control panel wether in the lastest Firefox or IE7. Trying to retrieve a new password reveals an “invalid key” error.

In reply to: WP 2.5: can’t add imagesUse the Image Manager plugin. It’s far superior.

In reply to: Matching body width with header widthI def checked out the images, and removed them all except for the custome header. The page content however did not get wider to match the header width. I don’t expect it to o all the way, but it should be close than it is. It’s still constrained.

In reply to: Matching body width with header widthIvovic – Thanks for the tips. I never had this problem before 2.5.
So let me be clear – I need to remove the background image URL for the body? Thx.

In reply to: Sticky post/article (WP-Sticky)Yeah after using your plugin a bit, it seems it’s a few notches above adhesive. I was wrong. Thanks for the excellent resource.
