    When you uninstalled the updated version and reinstalled the old version, did you lose anything? Did all of your products and settings remain intact?

    @ delatdecatsini – Thanks!

    @delatdecatsini – Where did you locate version 2.0.10? Could you send me a link please?

    @simonmc – I couldn’t agree more. In fact, I’ll probably never waste my time updating again. You know the old saying: if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. WOO 2.0.11 is broke and now I’ve got to fix it.

    I posted a ticket a Woo last night. Maybe I’ll hear back from them in two three days.

    Thanks for adding to the thread.

    That’s not how I did it. I went into the woo css and revised two files.

    wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/assets/css

    Make your revisions to the woocommerce.css and woocommerce.less files.

    /* Price */
    span.price, p.price {
    color: @highlight;
    font-size: 1.4em;
    font-weight: bold;

    Boom. It works.

    I had the same problem when I initially installed PP Express, but I never intended for it to be a primary payment gateway. When I installed Authorize.net and made it the primary, that error went away.

    That problem only seems to occur when the “Proceed to Checkout” button is clicked. If you click the “Checkout with Pay Pal” button, it navigates to the correct Pay Pal page.

    Are you going to use PP as the only means for customers to purchase products?

    Of course, you shouldn’t have to install another payment option if you don’t want to. There’s clearly a bug in the PP Express plugin. But getting an answer from Woo is like pulling teeth. If you figure it out or they tell you how to resolve it, please post.

    Sorry I couldn’t be more help.

    Based on my exhaustive search of available Woo extensions, there isn’t a plugin solution. The only way I can think to address the problem is to note a price discount either in one of the tabs or include it in the description. I know it’s the lazy way. If you find a way to do this, please post.

    Sorry I couldn’t be more help.

    The theme isn’t the problem and the only plugin that may be an issue is WP-Super-Cache. I don’t want to disable that though. Would Squid Proxy or anything involving PHP or MySQL have anything to do with it?

    Thanks for your reply.

    In reply to: Upgrading to 2.8.6

    I just upgraded from 2.8.4 and it literally killed my site. Blank pages everywhere. I’m running a VDS with plenty of memory and bandwidth so that’s not a problem. Perhaps I can uninstall 2.8.6 and revert back to 2.8.4?

    What are some of the common causes? Where are the most likely places to look for the errors that created the problem?

    Thanks.

    Good ideas. Thanks for the reply.

    Yep, just figured that out. Thanks for responding. I’m back up and running.

    3. Citing someone else’s post using their trackback URL in the “Send trackbacks to” entry field successfully sends a ping AND the original blog receives it. The trackback may go into moderation.

    Is this what you all have found to be true?

    No. I can’t get pingbacks to work when I link to anyone regardless of the way I do it. WordPress support hasn’t done anything to solve the problem.

    It isn’t an issue with my host, it isn’t an issue with my theme and it isn’t an issue with the plugins.

    Somebody, somewhere has the answer to this problem. Unfortunately, no one here seems to know the answer.

    You know what really sucks? I see dozens of WP sites every day where trackbacks/pingbacks seem to work – just not mine or apparently, some of the people posting here.

    I see after posting the last time no one from the vaunted WP Support team has even bothered to address anyone. Thanks WP. Blogger is starting to look really good.

    Got it resolved. Thanks.

    I can’t access the WP-Admin area to do that. Uninstalling the plugin caused the site to crash. I’m in my Plesk control panel and see the line you’re referring to, but can’t delete from there.

    I still don’t understand why deleting the files caused my site to crash. I’ve never had that happen when deleting other plugins.

    You know, for a support forum, there isn’t much support around here. Look at all the people that are having a problem with pings, and not one WP genius in here can tell us what’s wrong. We’re using your damn product but we sure as hell don’t have to.

    Someone around here should have the ability to answer this question. Why are so many of us having problems with sending pings? We’re all tired of being left in the dark on this issue and basically searching endlessly to solve a problem that appears to be widely reported. But no replies to help us.

    I’m telling you just like this. Somebody around here needs to get off their ass and help us figure out why WP pings aren’t working. Everyone here states the incoming pings work fine, but outgoing pings don’t.

    As I suspect others have done, I’ve checked with my host and nothing is blocking the port that would prevent me from sending pings.

    So someone get with the program and give us some support, here at the WP “Support” forums – support, you know, as in help.
