We are experiencing the same exact issue. We’ve not had any issues with the cloning process for our client and then now it is setting twentytwentyfour theme as active, even thought there are no files, and none of the General or Reading settings are being brought over to the cloned site. Plugin: Version 4.4.5. WordPress: Version: 6.5.5. PHP: Version 8.1

@babylon1999 I resolved the issue yesterday. Updating WP Core seemed to fix the issue. It was something specific to WooCommerce BlockTypes.

My checkout page was unknowingly removed at some point causing an even larger issue i was unaware of. This is the default action of WooCommerce as i thought.

Looks like i just jumped the gun. I can update now! Crazy timing. Got a complaint from client about the issue addressed in 3.17.1 and checked the change log and it was fixed 15 minutes prior.

After checking error logs. It was a ModSecurity issue.
