PS. Is there a way of enabling a logging of the processes woocommerce goes through when placing the order, so I might track down the point where things change?

No. There are no errors showing up anywhere near the order times…

Thanks – unfortunately the last para sums it up. It is not reproduceable. Hence the hope that someone could point me at the code that produces the two quantities (the order itself, and the shipping list), so I could attempt to see why the two variables are different…

WooCommerce Table Rate Shipping Plus: by mangohour – 1.9.2 is not used – it is shown as present but inactive in the plugins section. So it’s odd that it shows active in the SSR

The site just uses the normal shipping features in Woocommerce->Settings->Shipping, with UK, EU and ROW entries.

If I knew the code where the shipping list and the order lists are created, I might be able to undersatnd why one quantity is correct, and the other isn’t.

Thank you. I’m seeing the problem maybe 10 times over the last 4 months – less than 5% of orders. There seems to be nothing consistant as to how it gets there – there’s certainly nothing connecting the orders.

Thanks for the suggestion – unfortunately Product Vendors does not come up in the drop down list of products that can be selected for support – which leaves me hoping someone here may help (or know a way to get to the support).

Thanks – that gives me what is needed. It looks like the backup failed to restore the values.

I’d like to add them in, but there have been a number of orders (say 250 items) since this new set up started, so if I restore directly, I will get numerous duplicates of order_item_id (with different data).

Will that be an issue, or do need to go through the restoring SQL to add 250 to all the order_item_id values to make them unique?

The report seems unable to pick up the items of the order from those prior to the switch to GoDaddy, but OK with those since. My guess is that the report generator is using the old wp_ table name, and if I can find where that is embedded in the database information, I can make an adjustment (maybe).

Thank you for this. I’ve had a look with the tables, but cannot find the info that’s not working. Does anyone know where the the item information is obtained from when woocommerce is displaying an order? The order infomation is fine, but the contents of the order are missing.

This occurs for just historic orders (from the restore) – it works fine for new orders (in the new wp_xxxxx_ scheme)

Thanks! It looks like GoDaddy sets the rights to index.php to read only, and there doesn’t seem to be a way to change that. As it has the same contents as the one in the zip, I’ve copied the rest of the contents of the zip over manually. It seems to have worked, though I’m missing some setup information (like which theme, which plugins), which may be down to GoDaddy’s default WP installation?
