Well it’s nice that it is 100% impossible but it is happening. Lets look at some screenshots:

#2 Logged into my FTP to verify, yup in the plugins folder there is not MTM folder

#3 After checking that MTM is not installed, I tried to activate Akismet at see the following screen

I don’t know what else to do, this plugin is definitely trying my hands

Josh I have been trying to get this to work but I don’t find the Frontier readme to be very clear.

I have installed Frontier and the readme says:

Pods Frontier allows you to use Pods Templates to create advanced markup, without using any PHP or sacrificing the ability to create complex templates. These new tools allow you to conditionally show output and create loops.

Looking back at my original example (one of new taxonomies I created lists the Author(s) of the book. Rather than just getting the plain text listing the authors I want to show a link that would redirect to the page listing all of the posts with that tag). Does that mean I just have to use [each authors] in my template so it will show a link to a listing of all the books with Joe Hill as an author? Because that is not working.

I already use the Members plugin

But because products are a post (thus the ‘capability_type’ => ‘post’) the capability to create/edit them is “edit_posts”

If I take away that capability it stops them from creating products and blog posts.

If someone can find an easier way I would LOVE to know, but the only I can think of is to re-name the product custom post-type to something other than ‘post’

In wpsc-functions I changed:
‘capability_type’ => ‘post’,

to

‘capability_type’ => ‘product’,

This has removed the the ability to see or create products by contributors but I (an administrator) can no longer create products either (I can however see the tags, categories, variations and coupons).

This seems to have gotten me halfway, I’m just not sure what I am missing

The only time it naturally happens (which is why I haven’t run into the problem before) is when you add a gallery to a post and in the gallery settings have it to go the “Attachment Page” instead of the “Media File”

We had to feature 3 galleries this week with the images going to the attachment pages so our customers could see descriptions. But when I started this thread the post wasn’t up yet so I couldn’t link to it.

I want the social author bio to appear there, but when I click on the image to go to the attachment page:

I don’t want the social bio to appear there. It isn’t an actual page, just the attachment. There is no Disable the social Author Bio on the edit page

I guess because the post the image is attached to hasn’t posted yet the image hasn’t either? No matter, this will work for an example as well:
