If you need a shortcode where you can insert ID’s I can quickly make it … but they are still sorted by date and not in the order you enter the IDs

You can typically find ID by looking at your body class

Or in the url when you edit

BUT
I haven’t created a shortcode / loop where you can sort by ID … but it’s a good idea ??

I think your theme has not an archive.php file … perhaps?
The url /news is only working if you have an archive file.

But you could use the shortcode on a normal page …. but then you will have no pager
