I’m having the same issue. I’d appreciate your help. And as plain English as possible please, as I’m not a developer.
I have:
- Installed/activated the FB plugin version 1.0.1
- Created & properly connected the app
- In plugin settings, checked “Social Publisher” and “Publish to Author’s Timeline”
- In FB Open Graph Settings: Published a new Action Type with name “Publish”
- Opened a new “test page” to publish on my blog
- Authenticated with Facebook (using the plugin sidebar prompt in the “New Page” admin area)
- Successfully added one of my FB pages and mentioned one of my FB friends using the plugin’s sidebar area within the “New Page” admin
- Published the test page
- Page I mentioned: shows up on that page
- Friend I mentioned: shows up on their wall
- When I went back to Open Graph tab and tried to submit the “Publish” action type for approval, it still fails. I continue getting the same error message:
Publish Actions
You must publish at least one action to your Timeline using this action type. Review the documentation.
As far as I can tell, I’ve followed the FB plugin directions precisely. Am I missing something? Any plain English help anyone can offer would be very much appreciated.
