For some reason I am having difficulty with this as well. It working fine when I installed it last week, but today (not sure if it’s a WordPress-wide issue) these methods have failed:

1. Installing from WP dashboard (it gives a ‘no valid plugin files’ error)
2. Downloading 2.4 directly from the Repository (zip) and uploading via install (empty folder and it is)
3. ‘Current Version’ 2.4 direct download gives an invalid 404 link.

I am now going to install it from my other server but I thought you might want to check the file just in case.

And miraculously… it decided to work ?? Must have been some conflict with another Fancybox using plugin.

@brandon: As it turns out I was referring to the ‘old’ version of the plugin – before I found GV2!

Really glad to see it’s working. At least I know my issue is local now, whereby the validation error message pops up beneath the form (and so does the ajax loader) just fine, but when I actually ‘submit’ the form, the ajax loader spins but although the form is submitted successfully, the Success message doesn’t appear in the same place.

@BHT Design: Does your Ajax submission still work after using formlightbox_call?

Just testing it out at the moment and am not sure its fully working for me using the above.

The shortcode seems to be working just fine on a 3.5.1 install (vanilla) for me too.

Just wondering if thumbnail support also works with NextGen gallery? Thanks!

Problem resolved ?? Seems to be working fine. Now just to figure out how to configure everything.

Just to say that I do get this error message for CF7 too.

p/s: I was just reading the documentation on the Nivo slider website and realised that v3 upwards changes the way it detects and loads thumbnails:

It now uses the data-thumb attribute instead of rel or searchandreplace:

Thanks for your quick reply ?? Am just really glad that you decided to continue the plugin development as it is a very useful complement to NextGen. I only wish I were really good at that side of things.

Conditional loading would be so helpful as Nivoslider is already responsive so that’s already a tick in my box.

I would be happy to test out any beta versions if you think it might be helpful.

I think the developer has created a new plugin together with another author. It seems to be the same one but with all the updates. I haven’t quite gotten thumbnail nav to work yet as still testing in progress, but the basic commands seem to work fine.

I’m getting the same result as well. How odd – using a child theme though so will have to test with a main theme.

Not used dbview (the plugin) before as I only found out about it this week, but if it still works and is secure, it might be an option?
