In reply to: WP "correcting" external image links to internal ones! Thanks, Esmi – I am. Absolutely for sure. Copied, pasted and tested.
I also found that it’s not doing it *all* the time. I’ve managed to get the posts up by luck more than anything, I think. Now they’re there I daren’t go in and edit them in case it self-corrects again!

In reply to: 3.0 – New Post screen layout not being savedChecking the post linked above, Zemanta causes the problem to remain even *after* you deactivate/uninstall it. One poster on that forum has detailed how to get around this.
I’m assuming my version of the problem is therefore Zemanta-related as I do use it. Love the thing, and I’m “used” to the problem now, but I’ll be *so* happy when they fix it!

In reply to: 3.0 – New Post screen layout not being savedIt’s a Zemanta issue (or at least is in my case, and some others’):

In reply to: 3.0 – New Post screen layout not being savedUpgraded to 3.01 – no change.
I’ve even gone as far as uninstalling some plug-ins rather than just disabling them. No joy.

In reply to: 3.0 – New Post screen layout not being savedStill having this problem myself – no joy finding anyone else ??

In reply to: 3.0 – New Post screen layout not being savedI’m using the latest version of Chrome on Windows XP if that’s any help. Anyone? Surely I’m not the only person getting this problem?

In reply to: 3.0 – New Post screen layout not being savedDeactivated plug-ins and it’s still the same. As soon as I publish a post and the screen refreshes, all the widgets have been moved back to where they were – very annoying.
My dashboard was similarly “adjusted” when I first upgraded, but after rearranging everything there, the locations have been remembered and not changed since.

In reply to: New post title stuck as “Auto Draft”Def an Atahualpa problem, not a WP one. I’ll close this report and link to the other forum:

In reply to: New post title stuck as “Auto Draft”Seems to be theme-related. Am using the latest version of “Atahualpa”. Changed to the default theme and titles appeared OK. Back to Atahualpa and I’m stuck with “Auto Draft” again.
Grr.

In reply to: 3.0 – New Post screen layout not being savedTested on two different blogs both updated to WP3.0, both have the same issue.

In reply to: New post title stuck as “Auto Draft”To test, I just tried a “Test Post” as well. It’s also being given the wrong title when the blog’s browsed so it wasn’t just a fluke on one post.
Tested on a different blog and that is working fine after upgrade to WP3.0. Argh.

In reply to: Resize images in Chrome?Actually, it was working fine for me up until (I think) the 2.9.1 update. Now it doesn’t work again. Neither does the resize if I use the IEtab extension on Chrome.
Works fine on Firefox though.

In reply to: Stats – “post #” instead of actual nameAndy,
Seems to do the trick! Could be coincidence but it does seem a *lot* slower bringing up the stats on the ?page=stats page now, though. I *have* been having internet speed issues recently, which fluctuate so it could just be that.
Also just noticed that I now have “Home Page” as unlinked text in the list but I’m fairly sure I know which one that is… ??
Thanks very much indeed ??

In reply to: Stats – “post #” instead of actual nameHey Andy. The blog most affected is:
while
has a handful of issues. I think mainly as that uses predominantly linked images, whereas the travel one used images I’ve uploaded.
Thanks ??

In reply to: Version 2.9 image editor not workingI can confirm the same problem. Rotate/flip all seem to work fine, but crop just doesn’t do anything apart from highlight a rectangle of the image. I’ve never used any image-editing plugins before.
Two installs, same on both.
