It already sounds like it’s too heavy-duty for this solution, though i thank you for the insight,@bcworkz and that is helpful.

I simply need to style the hover states of a stock thumbnail gallery – so that when a thumbnail image is moused over, it displays the title of the image with a simple semi-transparent color block covering the lower 1/3 of the thumbnail.

It has been a tricky one, surprisingly. Any other ideas about achieving this through CSS alone?

followed all of this perfectly.
i can’t seem to get my archived, customized site to load on my new URL though… all of my pages and posts are gone and it’s just the untouched virgin theme.

i accidentally deleted my previous database though, due to a corruption of some kind… is there anything i can do?

i have, esmi – no dice.. and my issue seemed to warrant a fresh thread as it wasn’t especially pertinent to the discussion on moving_wordpress. i’ll move thread there and see if i can get anywhere with it.

I’ve had a lot of trouble trying to move my customized theme from a subdomain to the main root domain.

I can’t seem to get any of the customizations to show up – dozens of new pages / graphics / images / custom design work, etc… just the stock theme as if it hasn’t been touched yet.

I’ve tried to replace the theme with the archived customized theme in a number of ways – but no luck.

Any help would be really great. Thanks!
