    Hi Etoile,

Sorry to bother, but I’m curious to know if you have found the issue?

    Hi Etoile,

I’m glad you could reproduce the issue.
If you found the issue and could let me know with a bump of this topic, I would appreciate that.

Thanks again for you assistance and wish you a great weekend.

    Hi Etoile,

First of all, thanks for your time and effort to support us.

    Tables
Deleted all the tables and installed a fresh installation, but again no luck.

    Plugins
Deactivated all plugins on several sites to check if that’s the issue, but that isn’t the case.

    Theme
Also tried it with a standard WP theme, but again no luck.

    Fresh Installs
To be 100% sure it isn’t a plugin issue I’ve installed the plugin on 2 new websites (test environments) and on both websites I didn’t get the function to work.

    Clean Installation Example:
    Example: https://bit(dot)ly/2Lv2mnG
    Ordernr: 1
Custom Field = TEST (No value in the field.)
Hide blank fields is enabled in the options.

Also tried it with an older plugin version, but that didn’t fix it either.

    Any other suggestions?

Hmm, i just can’t get it to a fresh install.
Deleted the tables, but the custom statuses for example are still there.

    Hi Etoile,

I tried it on a another website and it works likes you said. Also tried to fill in some values and deleted it after but that didn’t do the trick.

Now i’m trying to delete the plugin on the site with all of the settings and stuff for a fresh start, but somehow if i delete and reinstall the plugin it remembers the old settings. Deleted it through WP and and FTP but both ways doesn’t delete the old data.

Does it keep a data backup somewhere?

Nvm, i found that the tables are still in the database.

    wp_EWD_FEUP_Fields
    wp_EWD_FEUP_Levels
    wp_EWD_FEUP_Payments
    wp_EWD_FEUP_Users
    wp_EWD_FEUP_User_Events
    wp_EWD_FEUP_User_Fields
    wp_EWD_OTP_Customers
    wp_EWD_OTP_Custom_Fields
    wp_EWD_OTP_Fields_Meta
    wp_EWD_OTP_Orders
    wp_EWD_OTP_Sales_Reps

I can delete those without issues? And reinstall the plugin?

    Hi Etoile,

    Thanks for your reply.

    1. The custom fields types are: short text (all of them)
    2. There are no assigned input values (blank)
    3. I’ve checked if there is a value in the field, but that’s not the case.
    4. If I set the display option to YES or NO the only fields it’s affecting are the standard fields from the plugin. So only the custom fields have the issue.

    Example:
The first two custom fields have a value in the order details, the other two don’t.

    Custom fields overview: https:(slash)(slash)ibb.co(slash)e5sQLd
    Link: http:(slash)(slash)goo.gl(slash)u2JoUD
    Ordernumber: 1

(P.S. I’ve made the urls unreadable for the bots, so please remove the (slash)’s en change them to /)

Hope this makes it easier to understand.
    Thanks again.

    Hi Tracy,

Thanks for your reply. I’ll check my other plugins and my host to see if one of those are the problem.

I’ll get back to you asap.

    Thanks again!

    Hi Etoile,

    Thanks for your reply.
Uninstall and reinstall did the trick!

    Best regards, M

    Got the same issue.

When creating a new order the first Order Change is being sent out as an update to the customer. But when i update the orderstatus to a new status it doesn’t send an update to the customer email.

    Settings:
    Order E-mail Frequency: On Change
Added specific email templates for each status.

Yes, tested my website last day and the load time is far more consistent then before.

Thanks again, and maybe someone else find this info usefull indeed.

I’ve contacted my webhoster and they didn’t see anything causing an overload on the server.

    Hi Cheesedude,

    Thanks again.
But when trying to run the php file, it gives me the following error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_IF in /home/multinp148/domains/mijnautosleutel.nl/public_html/TEST.php on line 38

*By the way, since i’ve deactivated the W3 plugin yesterday the admin-ajax takes now about 1/1,5 seconds to load. (Tested multiple times with Pingdom) so that’s a lot better now.

When turning the caching plugin off, the front-page is still fast enough. So i don’t think i’m overloading the server or something. I’ve checked my usage and error log but there a no issues.

But the admin ajax takes now less time to load, tested like 10 times and it’s usually about 1,3/1.5 seconds.

Although there are still moments the admin-ajax takes 3,4 or more seconds to load. But not as often anymore. When searching on this issue i stumbled across several threads about it where they are experiencing this since the update to 4.1.

But i’m happy, it’s faster and takes less time to load. So thanks for your help!

    Thanks, Cheesedude! Well understandable explanation.

I’m using the W3 cache plugin and some cache rules in my .htacces. I’ll test the site without it and see what happens.

I’ll let you know how it turns out, thanks again.
