In reply to: [Gutenberg] Images wrong size in editorWhen I re-edit any page I get the same tiny images.
I’m not capable troubleshooting for you. I have a brain tumor and just struggling to create content.
Besides, the correct way to resolve these problems is for the programmers to go back into the code and figure out how they broke it in the last release. You can’t keep blaming our plugins and themes which have worked fine for years. You broke it and now you have to fix it.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Your Site is Experiencing a Technical Issue with GutenbergThanks for the info. I do have Gutenberg 14.5.4 installed so I’ll watch for any future errors.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Titles aren’t being filtered – Gutenberg crashesAllowing embedded code in titles was the stupidest idea the programmers ever introduced.
As you pointed out, this is also a potential security violation. However, someone at WordPress thinks this is a great idea so they won’t fix it. They should be fired.
The title field should strip out all code leaving a continuous line of text.
This is another example of the programmers’ apparent need to screw around with everything including features that worked fine.
I’m really disgusted about this.

In reply to: Theme is installed but stopped workingOkay, I figured out what the problem was! I have a second site at MovieDebuts.com which is almost identical to my main site. I went there and it had two plugin upgrades waiting:
1. Disable Lazy Load
2. WP Maintenance ModeThen I remembered that these were the last two upgrades I made to my main site before it broke. I disabled these two plugins on my main site and everything started working again.
I’ll look into this further and see which of these plugins actually broke the site but I’m so happy to be back online! Yay! Thanks for your help.

In reply to: Theme is installed but stopped workingIf you’re saying that WP can’t find the style.css file for the theme, what caused it to lose track of it?
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Theme is installed but stopped workingI’m sorry, the style file is in that location but it’s named style.css, not styles.css.
I’m not using any other cache or optimizer as far as I know.
I removed autoptimizer according to their instructions which are:
1. Disable the plugin (this will remove options and cache)
2. Remove the plugin (I didn’t do this. Is it necessary to completely delete it?)
3. Clear any cache that might still have pages which reference Autoptimized CSS/JS (e.g. of a page caching plugin such as WP Super Cache)

In reply to: Theme is installed but stopped workingI was using autotimize but disabled it according to their instructions.
The style sheet for the current theme is /wp-content/themes/magazine-pro/styles.css

In reply to: Theme is installed but stopped workingJames,
None of the themes load, not even the ones includes with WP. It’s not specifically related to that theme. I can’t switch to any of the themes.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Headline – Photo – text bugI still have this problem and sorry that I haven’t been able to help much but I have a brain tumor and need to reduce my time online. However, I can set up an account if someone wants to access my account and figure out what’s wrong.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Headline – Photo – text bugHere is some additional information:
When I disable the Gutenberg the headline problem seems to go away.
HOWEVER, with the plugin disabled, every photo in my articles has this directly above it:
This block contains unexpected or invalid content. Attempt Block Recovery
I didn’t attempt to recover these codes because I have thousands of photos.
So I re-enabled the plugin and the error has gone away but the problem of highlighting the headline and being unable to do anything is still there.
ALSO, I haven’t confirmed this yet but this situation might be preventing
Google from finding my photos in articles. This is a mess, please help!

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Headline – Photo – text bugI use Chrome but the bug also exists in Microsoft Edge.
Highlight the headline and leave it highlighted. Control-C to copy the text. Now try to click on an image. You can click on it but block mode isn’t invoked. You can’t do anything such as get the alignment menu. You have to un-highlight the text first.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Changing the font size in a paragraph blockI’d like to add something to this. Yesterday I tried to change the font size of the words in a photo caption – but the Typography section was gone from the right sidebar.
I’m using the latest version of the plugin.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Will you ever start caring about performance?I meant to say:
@zoonini I’m talking about the production version of Gutenberg. It DOES have some freezing but not as bad as the plugin.
