You should check with the bank what is the problem.
If you are getting a reference id means you have performed redirection to the paycenter page but something is not set properly with the bank.
Either Referrer url or server IP Address.
Take into consideration that in a shared server the IP address must be the public and not a private IP.

You can use any page you want.

The merchant must sign a contract.
It accepts mastercards , visas etc debit / prepaid / credit cards , it does not have anything to do with clients bank accounts.

Do you have debuging enabled?

A merchant must have a contract with Piraeus Bank, to receive payments via gateway. All cards are accepted, debit / prepaid / credit cards.

You are right, the number of installments that are send to the piraeus system is not the max installments allowed, but the number of installments for the customer.
Piraeus Bank does not allow the customer to select the installments in the paycenter like other banks. It must be pre-sent.

This needs recoding and it will be in the next version.

WPML is a commercial plugin and is not supported.
Using the po files as configuration files does not seem as a right solution.
Also the problem must be for the other languages the links that you have provided to the bank.
I believe that Piraeus bank require an other gateway for each language.

It depends on the maintenance plugin your are using, I have never tested it with maintenance mode. If it does not block the woocommerce API it probably should work for logged in users.
If it doesn’t disable maintenance mode.

When you did your tests? Did it return successfully to the e-shop and changed the status?
