Ah! fantastic!! thank you!! it’s working perfectly!

Ok, please help me then with my formula. This is the standard one:
    PREC(((fieldname2/1000)*(fieldname34/1000)*(fieldname37/1000)*fieldname16),2)

But fieldname34, depending on the dependency chosen, could be fieldname35 or fieldname51, and fieldname37 could be 38 or 39 or 40 or 41 and fieldname16 could be 17 or 18

    I tried:
    PREC(((fieldname2/1000)*((fieldname34/1000)OR(fieldname35/1000)OR(fieldname51/1000))*((fieldname37/1000)OR(fieldname38/1000)OR(fieldname39/1000)OR(fieldname40/1000)OR(fieldname41/1000))*(fieldname16)OR(fieldname17)OR(fieldname18)),2)

    and it didn’t work

Even if the fields aren’t 0? Because some of the fields are set values and can’t be changed by the user so the fields aren’t 0 if not in use…

it’s not just length and width, it’s a type of wood, each type has a set of widths and thicknesses and each selection of widths and thicknesses has a price. I took the under construction function of if you want to go and check the page

Thanks Joy, but that is not actually my issue or the point of this post, weather it updated automatically or not (which it did) is not my concern, and I did not say the builder CHANGED my content, I did say it MOVED it from one builder to another builder and set all the element from the previous builder into code (as can be seen in my 1st post here…now imagine my little intern developer having to work like that…?). I am conveying the problem as it is on my sites currently, i promise I’m not making any of this up just to take the piss out of people on the forum so fighting with me about the facts in MY problem on MY sites really doesn’t help me solve the issue. I did not paint hypothetical situations or made suggestions of possible issues of any kind, i said here’s what happened (which is really really what happened), here’s how it looks now (which is really really what it looks like now), WTF how could they, how do i fix without losing my content…that was it.

    Any way,

Thanks Steven, i couldn’t install the classic builder, it clashed with a crucial plugin i can not uninstall, so I had to dig through my back-ups and restore the site from an old point before the update happened and had to disable my security plugin that I use as that is what seems to initiate the automatic updates (for security measures obviously)…problem is, until everything speaks to one another again, I have to do this to all my sites…so far we are on site nr 35 that we had to revert to an old back-up…we still have 76 to go (AAAAARHG!!!!).

It’s beyond my comprehension how WordPress could make such a crucial change in their structure when most people out there uses themes with builders in them. The mere fact that in a few weeks of them doing this there have been over 1 million downloads for the classic builder shows that they did not think this through very well…my opinion… and apparently the opinion of 1 million+ other people as well …

The problem is, instead of having one place to edit info as before and then simply switching between what editor i want to use by clicking a button, the builders are all separate now, so if i disable one editor, the other editors stay there, but the info that was in that editor that I now disabled are gone. Everything was built in WP Bakery, I don’t know why they felt the need to move it out of WP Bakery’s builder into the Blocks Builder, but that is where it is, all in code. So if I now disable the Block’s builder, the info/content doesn’t jumps to the WP Bakery builder, it disappears with the disabled Block builder, leaving my pages blank.

So it’s not to do with making changes and saving or not saving it and revisions and such…it’s got to do with, when wordpress did the last update (which updated automatically across all my sites), the Block builder made changes all by itself and moved all my info/content out of WP Bakery builder to Block builder and now everything is a coded mess in Block builder. If i disable Block Builder it disables the content in that builder and the WP bakery builder stays empty.

from the 1 million+ downloads of the classic builder i can see that 1 million+ people are facing similar issues. But if I try to install it i get a 500 server error so now i am troubleshooting that first…

Checked out the thread. It makes sense if the error is that the file is missing, which is the case in that thread, but my error doesn’t give a file missing error.
It’s doing this on ALL my sites I have updated to wordpress 4.6.1. Sometimes it takes me 2 days to get everything updated again. Very frustrating.

Nope, only updated wordpress to 4.6.1

    Same error almost:
Update Failed: <!DOCTYPE html> Maintenance Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute.
Can’t update my plugins or my theme after wordpress updated.

    Same issue, my error is:
Update Failed: <!DOCTYPE html> Maintenance Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute.

But checking back in a few minutes does nothing, still the same error
