In reply to: Adding a sub-sub menu to a custom menuTo clarify, I need to update it to:
Books
– Baby Bust
— Praise
— Coverage
– Total Leadership
— Praise
— Coverage
etc …Space — yup, I messed it up pretty good. All i did was change the margin for the social icon div from 0 to 10, hoping that would add space above the icons. Instead, it shrunk the size of the white background.
(I’ve posted another forum post about how to copy/paste make new sidebars/templates to use for testing.)
Any ideas for how I can get back to an entire white background?
Thanks!!
It is a custom theme created for us years ago.

In reply to: [Featured Post Widget] Random image appears when using back buttonI’m sorry, I don’t know how to check for interference. Is that something I do manually?

In reply to: [Featured Post Widget] Random image appears when using back buttonAlso, be sure to use the “Back to forum” link at the top of the post, and not the back button on your browser to get the image to appear.

In reply to: [Featured Post Widget] Random image appears when using back buttonIt’s happening to more than on person, in more than one state, on more than one computer. It’s a randomly generated pictures from a blog entry — it isn’t the previous blog entry or something predictable. I just replicated the issue several times in Chrome and IE, and each time it generated a different picture.
I don’t think the image is in the widget either — the setting are clearly marked to show no images. But for some reason it is pulling in images from the site, and they are below the widget title and the widget text. Very strange!

In reply to: How do I "make this file writable" so I can save changes?I’ll call them. I don;t even know how to access the wp-content folder. I literally was given the log in to the wp-admin account yesterday and am muddling my way through the changes to our freakishly custom site with copy/pasting and help from Google.
Thanks!

In reply to: How do I "make this file writable" so I can save changes?Yes, the text that appears on the Web site.
When I go to Appearance > Editor and then under Templates int he right column find the sidebar-home.php file, I cna edit the html but below the edit box I see the “You need to make this file writable before you can save your changes. See the Codex for more information.” message.

In reply to: How do I "make this file writable" so I can save changes? Is it something that is typically accessed through wp-admin, or through wherever the web site is hosted?

In reply to: How do I "make this file writable" so I can save changes?Sadly, I am so new to WordPress that I don’t know where to access the sidebar.home file. I log in through wp-admin to edit the site, and we are using version 3.4.1. My boss in unwilling to upgrade to 3.6.1 today because we are expecting a surge in traffic tomorrow for a particular activity, and we do not want to risk the upgrade breaking something on the site.
Can you point me to where I might be able to find the sidebar.home file? Is it in wp-admin?
