Problem solved: I had to reset the Viper’s Video Quicktags plug-in to display its buttons on a third, separate row below the two formatting toolbars in the edit window.

The resize tool only lets me make the box taller or shorter, not wider or thinner.

Really? No answer at all? No one else is having this problem?

I had the same problem running WP 2.9.1 with the WP to Twitter plugin, the blank page after publishing a post. Deactivating the plugin eliminated the problem.

IT seems to me the problem is with WP’s interaction with Twitter posting, since it’s reproducible with two different Twiter plugins.

On a hunch, I re-installed the 2.7 files. Everything seems to work now. I’m guessing something got corrupted during the upload to my host directory.

Fortunately, I had backed up my wp-config.php and wp-content before the upgrade attempt.
