Can you try to place an order and wait on the notification page so it detects it. After popup shows (and if sound fails) just acknowledge the notification and wait on the same screen for next order.

If the next order also fails, please write me back so I can check this situation.

I changed it to get the default options from your WordPress Settings. Check the admin panel and navigate to Settings -> General. You will see Timezone, Date Format and Time Format.

You may use these settings to change the format.

With the new version 1.3.1, I added a sound test button to the New Order Notification page. Can you please try this button to check if sound is playing or not?

With the newest version (1.3.0), when you set order statuses from the settings then you will only see the recent orders with those statuses. This option works same for the alerts.

I will try to extend the number of orders in the page by using pagination. Please wait for the next version for this feature.
