thanks Kevin, i tried this plugin but how do i get it to go on my homepage, like i dont want it as part of the footer, im going to add some homepage icons soon so would like it under them.

sorry Hannah i checked a site that i like and it was using a flex slider but i noticed it had width 100% margins left 100 etc i tried coping it but didnt work, so it looks like they used css to make the flex slider full width.

at the end of the day if i cant get it to work properly i will deal with it, i just like learning all this stuff.

i have other things id like to do aswell but will start new threads for them.

i get what your saying a friend of mine did it for me and im still learning so not sure yet,

can you tell me what css i would use to alter the flex slider? like what heading i should use so that the css understands it

i want the fullwidth slider, when i choose fullwidth in the settings the slider stops working and shows no slider at all

no i couldnt get it to work. im not sure what ive done to change it. a friend of mine did most of the child theme, i just made adjustments where i could and just learnt how to do the site.

it seems like the virtue theme works with slider but site looks weird. so im not sure what has changed in the child theme

yeh when ever i put full slider option on the slider does not come up at all. the only time i can get slider to work is by using the flex slider option

1843 x 1043 are the pictures im using

i got the pages to stay full width, just needed to add .page-header

sorry i had it on carousel but now that it is on fullwidth it doesnt even show up

i have it on full width but still not working and if you check site once you go to another page it defaults back to smaller width

ok that worked it made the topbar and logo fullwidth but the body is still smaller and so is the slider, can i make the rest fullwidth

Hi sorry what i mean is once i build a page using page builder can i then put the main menu on that page? i have built a test page theu page builder then changed it in reading to make the test page the main page but it does not change.

also i still cant make the page fullwidth is there a code i can add to make it fullwidth

can i add it to my home page?
also could i add the menu to my home page?
