In reply to: [WordPress Beta Tester] [Plugin: WordPress Beta Tester] multi-site?Odd. It worked for me. Here was my process.
Go to the main domain dashboard (not the Network Admin)
Go to Tools/Beta Tester
Select Nightly Builds
Then go to Network Admin
In the bottom right corner it should say something about beta testing, and that you are cool. Click on the link there that checks for an update.
From there, for me, it updated to 3.4.It’s obviously not coded for Multisite use, but I was able to get it to work.

In reply to: [WordPress Beta Tester] [Plugin: WordPress Beta Tester] multi-site?Just to point out a further issue. You can change you options on the main domain page to the nightly build setting, but then, with the plugin activated network wide, on every subdomain you will see an error that says: Error: Your current WordPress Beta Tester plugin configuration will downgrade your install to a previous version – Please reconfigure it. Given that you can’t upgrade (or downgrade) a blog on a multisite install from a subdomain, it probably isn’t an issue.
So the plugin certainly works in Multisite, but is obviously not coded for Multisite.

In reply to: Header from Media Libary in Theme OptionsSorry @esmi, I see where I’m not being clear. Do you understand what I mean now?
Forum: Alpha/Beta/RC
In reply to: Header from Media Libary in Theme Options@esmi you’re not understanding me. Under Appearance>Header I can now choose to either upload an image from my desktop (which has always been there for themes that support this kind of customization) OR I can now select an image from my media library and use that as a header. This is a new, and welcome addition. In previous versions of WP, if I changed themes, I had to upload a new header image from my desktop, even though a perfectly good version of the header existed on the server. So this is the patched hole I’m referring to; but I will probably direct users to the customize link, instead of the submenu of Appearance, to make these changes, where I can’t take advantage of this new functionality, and have to again, upload from my desktop every time I change themes.

In reply to: Header from Media Libary in Theme OptionsYes. This: https://vip.wordpress.com/2012/05/10/wordpress-3-4-preview-theme-customizer/
Seems odd that it’s not there. I will probably redirect most of my users to customize their blog using this easier interface, where they will end up continuing to upload multiple copies of their header out of virtue of not being able to pull the image from the media library. It’s like fixing a hole and then redirecting everyone to a new bridge with the same hole in it.

In reply to: Header from Media Libary in Theme OptionsSorry. The customize option in the themes picker.

In reply to: Header from Media Libary in Theme OptionsThe new one that allows me to customize and live preview the customizations made to the theme.

In reply to: [WordPress Beta Tester] [Plugin: WordPress Beta Tester] multi-site?Scratch that. Seems I can select options from the main domain, then go to the Network Admin space to upgrade and I am currently running the nightly build. So it works, It could just use a bit of Multisite love in order to make the selection process easier.

In reply to: [P2] [Theme: P2] Adding Custom Header Breaks MenuSome further information. Chrome works fine as well. In Firefox, adding a header image with a Custom Menu creates a space to the right of the Post area revealed through a horizontal scroll. This blank space to the right is approximately the length of the menu. I’m inferring from this that the menu is creating a block to the right of the banner.

In reply to: [P2] [Theme: P2] Blogpost as Default Post TypeI wasn’t able to find a solution to this, and subsequently reverted back to the default settings as this glitch was confusing for my users. I would love to revisit this though if you find a solution.
Good luck.

In reply to: [BuddyMobile] [Plugin: BuddyPress Mobile] No admin menuSame issue. Not sure where the admin menu is intended to be. Looked under Buddypress when the plugin is Network Activated, then attempted site level activation on the BP site within a WPMS install and thought perhaps it might appear under settings. No luck.

In reply to: Blocking A Network Enabled Plugin on Individual SitesYou probably bought it from wordpress.com. This is the .org forums, for people who who are running wordpress on their own servers.
