Ice Tiger: what you need to do is clear YOUR browser cache. If you’ve never done this before, don’t worry it is easy.

Go to the search engine of your choice (google, bing, duckduckgo) and type in the name of the browser program you use (chrome, firefox, explorer) then the words EMPTY CHACHE.

Follow the instructions and clear your browser cache.

problem solved.

Q: are you logged in as admin and seeing the admin bar at the top of the site? Have you tried logging out or using an alternate browser to view the site as a visitor will see it? Just curious…

hey BClarke – I’ve been using this theme and following this forum for a long time, and the dev is a really hardworking, thoughtful person. Why don’t you slow your roll a little bit with the INTERNET SCREAMING! and just post your issue then let the dev and other users respond.

take a chill pill and release all caps, you got the theme for free so relax a minute.

I use the plugin “Disable Comments” by Samir Shah on almost every website I run. It just wipes that particular functionality right out of wordpress, the way I use it.

I think it can do the task “per page”

Todd, no I am not that skilled, I just knew I had seen something similar…perhaps one of the really smart folks will take a look at Kale and translate the code over to Nisarg ( I also would be happy for the option).

Todd – are you looking to have (Basically) the little magnifying glass that, once clicked, turns into a search box, like the one in the wordpress theme “KALE”?

Question, on the issue of “child themes” and custom css.

If I have 40 lines of custom CSS, isn’t it easier to just keep those lines saved as a text doc on my hard drive (or cloud acct) and pop them right back in after an update than it is to create and implement a child theme?

RE: white space – you are thinking like a designer – try thinking like a customer, this is an EXACT quote:

Empty space does provide visual balance, but it does not sell. Most of the folks I’ve worked with over the years are in the “make my name bigger” school of artistic appreciation. Get to my content, asap.
