    Hi Paul,

I’m not really sure we ever got a resolution to this. I was really just the person who setup the server, database(MySQL), webserver, PHP, etc… I asked my co-worker who was the one setting up the front-end of our WordPress server and she thinks we got around this by using an older version of the Learnpress Plugin…

It was so long ago now that she wasn’t positive. But, I believe the older version may have been what helped.

I seem to remember something strange helping with the situation and I think it was by having LearnPress 0.9.20 installed and Activated and “Learn Press by Thimpress Version” v1.0 installed but deactivated… I seem to remember when we uninstalled the v1.0 one, all other weird things began happening with LearnPress 0.9.20, so we reinstalled the v1.0 one but never activated it.

But, honestly I couldn’t really tell you what helped, if anything. Sorry… It may be a thing where you could email the developer directly and see if they can help you out.

If you do find an answer I’d be curious to find out what the issue was/is…

Also, forgot to mention it is a Multisite installation, if that matters.

    -Thanks

Hey Fahad, thanks for the reply.

I am currently working on this with the OP and we turned on the debugging and attempted to create dirs and upload documents, which all seem to work just fine. But, when we attempt to go to WP-Docs in the front-end, this is when we run into trouble.

Between each click I wrote down the step I took and then copy/pasted the error that printed to the debug file.

I was going to copy and paste those results here, but it does not display correctly and would be pretty tough to read. So I uploaded the .txt file to Google docs and I am sharing that txt file in the link below.

I began each line with “—” for the Action that I took and then under each “—” line is the error messages that printed out after performing that specific action.

A little while ago we were somehow able to get to one of the Sub-dirs we created the other day and we could actually see the file in that sub-dir from the front-end, however I cannot seem to get there again… The steps and errors for this are also in that txt file at the very end.

We are running WordPress 4.4.2, PHP 5.6.9 and MySQL 5.6.28

    *Thanks in Advance

Hey Kjodle, thanks for the reply.

Yes, you are correct. I just found out that it was something added by a plugin.

However, I did find the Dashboard > Tools > Import/Export feature that seems pretty promising. I was able to successfully export a Site’s entire “Docs” section to an xml file. Then I was able to modify the XML file by removing everything except the items I wanted saved to another site. Then I was able to import those specific Docs to one of our other sites with that modified xml file… Worked pretty well.!

    Thanks again for the reply.

We were finally able to get Permlinks working, so we can now view and preview courses and get to any page we couldn’t get to before… I described the way I fixed Permalinks at the link below:
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/permalinks-to-working-for-all-links

However, I am still very confused by the ZIP file for learnpress containing what looks lke 2 separate plugins/folders inside it, making it impossible to install it “as is”… The zip file contained 2 folders, one called “learnpress” and the other called “thim-learn-press”, each containing their own plugin files & directories. Below I will copy and paste the beggingin part of each dir’s readme file.

    Got it Working!

I was finally able to get this working, for now at least…

I kept all the above settings the same, except for the Settings > Permalinks page…

In the Permalinks settings page I changed it back to Custom structure, using: “/%category%/” as the Custom Structure, and I removed any/all text from inside the Category base textbox… And viola, it’s working now as expected!!

I am also having this problem.

    WP Sticky Notes v2.1.5
    WordPress v4.4.1
Hosted on Linux VM running Apache2 and MySQL 5.6

Has anyone found what this issue is with this?
