I was also wondering if someone could help me expand the header to the body of my site in addition to getting the image to the very top of the page. I currently have,

#masthead {
 background: #122C81;
width: 125%;
 margin-top: 0;
}

in my css and when I expand the width past 125 nothing happens?

Thank you! That eliminated the extra space at the top of my site, but how do I move my image to the top as well?

and now I have absolutely no idea what to do next?

I meant that I madee changes in the Child Theme. The Changes show up in the Child theme, but do not show up in the Twenty Twelve theme when I switch over.

It makes edits within the child theme, but they do not carry over to my twenty twelve theme?

I took the capital letters out. I saved this in Notepad under style.css and uploaded it:

Still not working.

And, I have reviewed that link several times and I can’t figure out what is wrong?
