I’m also seeing this problem – currently at 255mb with no broken links!
Given it hasn’t been supported for 7 months I’ve decided to remove it and am trying WP broken links status plugin.

I think this is a incorrectly categorised as an infection. Adminer, from what I’ve researched is not a critical issue – but ofcourse I could be wrong!

In any case, it was easy to delete via ftp.

So it may not be your plugin afterall, although the new plugin has been updated and I haven’t experienced a problem.

Thanks Tara. Will give it a try and report back. Have other ongoing issues, such as strange characters appearing since the wordpress update so perhaps that can also be fixed.

Update: Only way I could resolve it was to change it to a draft and then I was able to move it to trash.

Are you able to tell me the PDF creator so that I could ask them? Thought you may know as you’ve used it in your plugin…

pdfmyurl is an option that I’m checking out.

UPDATE:
It definitely is Grand Flagallery that has caused the problems!
We’ve deactivated it and now all works fine.

After trying numerous suggestions on other posts, I found this the most helpful.

I ended up whitelisting my ip address in the .htaccess file and then had no problems at all.
