In case my experience helps other users, I’ll share what I did to get it working:

tl;dr – I created new Discord roles just for this plugin to manage

After waiting 24 hours, I first created three brand new roles in Discord (Level 1, 2, 3) dedicated just for this plugin.

Next, I logged my Level 1 member out of Discord, and disconnected him from discord in WordPress.

Then I “flushed mappings” in this plugin, saved, and remapped the mapping to the new roles in Discord, and saved again.

Finally, I logged my level 1 user back into Discord, and reconnected his wordpress account to Discord, and after a few minutes I could now see the correct “level 1” text channels.

Thank you for sharing this info! Please don’t stop.

Sometime last week my CPU usage went to 100% and top showed it was wp-update.

Since then I found a number of hacked files including the ones you mentioned, and have deleted/replace them all.

At this point I’m pretty disappointed that VaultPress didn’t find the changed wordpress core files, or notify me of any errors.

If anyone can recommend a good malware detection service please do!

And @kestutisit, please keep sharing what you find – and any steps you’ve taken – your help is very much appreciated!

I’m having a similar issue and also have WooCommerce installed…

Are you sure you just didn’t edit Uncanny’s code a little, and then release it as your own?

That’s what the buzz is in the community, and it’s giving your team a black-eye.

I’ve posted here since this issue ONLY occurred when this free plugin was enabled. The problem did not occur with either or both Patreon WordPress or Patreon Pro enabled.

That said, seeing as both Patreon WordPress and Patreon Pro both had recent updates, I took a chance and updated both as well as updated to WordPress 5.3.1 (prior to the 5.3.2 release,) then re-activated this plugin and so far everything seems to be working again ??

The big red banner saying “At least one plugin in Patron Pro package is not installed,, inactive or must be updated. This may prevent Patron Pro from working.” is getting to me lol.

Thankfully the other two plugins do work without it ??

I just updated to WordPress 5.3 and ran into the same issue as PixelPrism (I exclusively use the Classic editor, and neither the Visual or Text mode would work)

To troubleshoot I deactivated all my plugins, then activated them one at time and found this plugin (Patreon Button, Widgets and Plugin) breaks the post editor.

PS – I have no issues with Patreon WordPress or Patron Plugin Pro, just this plugin.

@rynald0s Hmmm, are you saying on a plain install of just WordPress and WooCommerce you don’t see Export Orders as an option along side Posts and Pages?

I’ve had some success using

“Order / Coupon / Subscription Export Import Plugin for WooCommerce (BASIC)”

and

“WordPress Users & WooCommerce Customers Import Export(BASIC)”

But man it would make so much more sense for imported orders to act like imported posts and import all of the order information including the customers info ??

Hopefully Automattic will fix it as it’s super buggy.

Either that, or remove it until it works.

Update – It looks like all of my polls have many votes (like they should have) but all have 0 answers?

So obviously all the “pre-update” votes are not being counted – how can this be fixed?

Update: I did additional testing and was able to use this plugin on a plain v4.8 site without issue, so it does appear to work with 4.8.

Thank you for your response.

I understand this is a free plugin and while I don’t need a monthly plan I would be willing to make a small donation if you could add this option.

I also understand that for most, having links in titles would not be desired.

That said, I often have to use H3 and H4 text sizes when I publish “How To” posts with lots of large pictures since small text is hard to find mixed in with large pictures.

So please let me know if you are able to add this option to allow links in H3 and H4 text, and if you are please also send me a link to send you a small paypal donation in appreciation.
