In reply to: [Force Refresh] Any way to trigger refresh from a hook ?Hi
thanks. Was checking if this would have been easy or not.
Matt
This switch might be temporary.
I’m keeping an eye on future Notification updates as your plugin was having some stuff that I found convenient, so will give it a try on future updates ??
Issue was coming from ACF Frontend from 3.0.5 which changed a lot in its design… and some “new post” forms were actually set as “edit post”. Changing type to “new” in Elementor solved the issue.
Hi
I managed to solve my issue by creating a new RSS template which gets events with the wished delay.
I don’t know if this would have been made easier in other ways (for example with an argument on the RSS feed URL).
Matt
filling-out the location slug in page configuration of the plugin removed the warning.
Topic closed. Correction done on ACF Frontend 3.1.12.
Hi
I’m glad you were able to provide ACF Frontend the necessary assistance, leading to this annoying bug to be corrected ??
Thanks !
MattHello @angelo_nwl,
I think you got me wrong.
This is independent of any ACF-related use/integration (I am not trying nor willing to use EM in ACF).
There is an underlying bug having ACF Frontend and Events Manager just active on the same site, leading to Error 404 when ACF Frontend is doing a redirect after a page is submitted (and nothing tells something more problematic is existing behind).
ACF Frontend team, while willing to help, do not know your plugin and to debug this issue, would ideally need your help to understand some design related-stuff in EM => what could be the source between having EM active and an ACF Frontend redirect leading to errors 404 ?? (I’m not getting it, neither)
To be honest I am using several plugins, had incompatibilities between some that were always corrected, without never facing parties refusing to provide a basic support, relying on the idea that managing underlying bug between plugins always worth it (especially between plugins that are used by a large amount of people).
I sincerely hope you can review a bit your position
Regards
Hi
thanks @caseproof for the support.
Topic is closed and Members was finally a collateral effect of “mod_security” in Apache. Disabling it apparently solved the issue ??
Matt
Hi
actually, even trying to focus makes this hard as it is more or less an important rewrite… it would imply a larger understanding of the code structure, variables, etc. to understand the changes ??

Hi
“Instead of using the “stay on current page” action for Redirect After Submit, have you also tried “Post URL”? Works fine for me” => I tried all options, I was talking about the stay on curent page choice as a tried choice, but my regular setup is a Custom URL redirection.
I tried to do a diff, and believe me, changes between 2.11.8 and 3.0.5 (which is the release right after) is very important.
Hi
Nope, this is not it on my side. URL is well formatted (and by the way, also exists if I ask to stay on current page with cleared form).
Actually, everything was working fine for me with 2.x but some stuff have changed since 3.0.5 that broke redirection – or is it a side effect… as I also noticed that my act/save_post hook is not triggered anymore (while post is submitted anyway).

Hi @angelo_nwl
it seems that filling-out the location slug in page configuration of the plugin removes the warning.
Isn’t the plugin supposed to provide default slugs if nothing is set in plugin configuration ?
