In reply to: [WooCommerce] Getting error message when clicking on settingsThank you for your help!
Once I created a new Admin account, I was able to access all of the WooCommerce options.
Just for future reference, what is the best way to reinstall WooCommerce without losing everything?
Thank you,

In reply to: [Simple Membership] Redirect & Protected Page Access Stopped WorkingSorry, but I should have been clear with my question.
Is there a way to reinstall the plugin without losing all of the settings?
Maybe save off a config file and then copy back in once I deactivate, delete, and reinstall?
Thank you

In reply to: [Simple Membership] Redirect & Protected Page Access Stopped WorkingNo cache plugin, but the firewall cache’s information. I cleared the cache manually, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference.
Are there instructions to manually reinstall the plugin?
Thank you for your help

In reply to: [WP Crontrol] Version 1.13.2 stops WP login-page from being accessedI had rolled back to 1.12.1
I think that I’ll wait until the author fixes the issue(s) and install the next version. It’s not a critical plugin for us at this point.
Thank you

In reply to: [WP Crontrol] Version 1.13.2 stops WP login-page from being accessedInstalling this version crashed my club’s site. I had to roll it back.
I am running the latest WP and PHP.
Thanks
Yeah, I’ve seen others say the same thing. My club has been using a free version of Elementor, so I donated the cost of the Pro version to get support but so far, all I’ve gotten from support is three emails asking questions about how I paid for the plugin/support.
I’d like to get some guidance before I continue. I’m sure that they are up to their butts in alligators with this major issue, so I’ll try to be patient and wait for them to respond to my email requests.
Given the times (12:00am – 2:30am) that they have responded, I’m guessing that support is not in this country, so if you ask a question today, you’re not going to get an answer today.
Thank you for the update. I will post any new info that I receive.
I had the same problem with the front end not responding but the back end did.
I’ll wait until next week to see if there’s a 3.6.2 with an announced fix. We’ve had good luck with Elementor in the past. Since other people are reporting the same type of issues, I assume that the Elementor team will resolve the problem.
If not, I’ll try your work around. So you ran the 3.6.1 update, rolled it back to 3.5.6 using the WP Rollback plugin, and then re-applied the 3.6.1 update again? That seems odd. Why would that work unless the rollback didn’t rollback all of the files?
Let’s see if someone from Elementor weighs in on this thread.
Thank you for the updates.
Thank you for the heads up.
Do we have a list of files that are effected by the update? Just the plug-in folder?
Your workaround is appreciated but I’d feel a whole lot better if the next update fixed the issue.
Did you disable your cache, auto update, and other plugins prior running the E update?
Thank you
…and lo and behold, there was 3.6.1.
??I’m guessing that the latest version comes with a fix.
Thank you and be well,
MikeHello
Has there been any changes that will allow me to clear pending subscriptions? I sent out invitations to people, but many have not answered. Now, some of them want to subscribe and when I try to submit their email again it displays “You subscribed this site before but you have not clicked the confirmation link yet. Please check your inbox. Otherwise, you can manage your preferences at subscribe.wordpress.com.”
I logged in as one of them and clicked on unsubscribe hoping to resubmit their email address but the system is giving me the same message. Now, when I look at the preferences it shows that they are not following the blog even though the system says that they are…?
Thank you

In reply to: [Simple Membership] reCAPTCHA Add-on not Challenging UserTo avoid possible conflicts between our firewall cache and a plug-in, does anyone know if there is a statement that can be placed in htaccess to accomplish he same result of rejecting cookies?

In reply to: [Simple Membership] reCAPTCHA Add-on not Challenging UserUpdate:
Although that appears to have fixed the issue, at least one user reports that he is not being challenged. I can’t prove that out, but I did notice that the compatible cache plugins reject at least one cookie “SWPM_IN_USE”. One rejects a second one WPTOUCH_SWITCH_TOGGLE
We have a cache built into our firewall and I’m working with our host to find out where I can list rejected cookies. I’m not sure if a cache plugin will cause problems with our firewall cache.
If the host can’t reject specific cookies… Does anyone know the answer to that question?
Thank you

In reply to: [Simple Membership] reCAPTCHA Add-on not Challenging UserProblem solved!
I was able to change the settings for our cache on the admin panel for the site. I excluded the login page from the cache so it has to reload each time.
That fixed the issue.
Thank you for the feedback. It ended up pointing me in the right direction.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Server Error 500 During PageUpdate with ElementorAfter more research, I found a solution. I realized that I was not at the latest PHP version (8). I brought it to the latest version available and increased my memory_limit.
I reactivated Yoast SEO and did not get a server error 500 as before.
Thank you for your previous reply.
