It’s unfortunate that I cannot display a featured image on the posts page (it makes the format of that page different from every other page on my blog), and I find it odd that while I cannot, I am given the option when editing the posts page.

If this feature did exist, I would want it only on the main posts page (i.e., on the first page) because each of the blog posts themselves has their own featured image associated with the topic of that blog post. Maybe someday that can be worked in?

Yes, those are the icons, and they now seem to be working for me. I have no idea why the like button wasn’t working before but is now.

I believe it is activated (at least as far as I can tell). Under #7 Do You Want To Display Icons At The End of Every Post, the Facebook like and share boxes are checked. Unless there is some other way that the Facebook icon needs to be activated.

Hi –

This just happened to me too. Pinterest, Google+, Twitter, and the Facebook share buttons all seem to work on the bottom of each post. But when I click the Facebook like button, both Facebook like and share buttons disappear, and nothing happens, and the buttons never return.

Thanks for your reply. I do not know if the Comment Reply Email Notification plugin is actually sending the emails. If not, then I am using the default…wordpress. And if that is the case and you are correct, that would explain the default email address. Any idea how to change that default in wordpress to see if that works?

I’m brand new to WordPress and the Kale theme – about a week now. I love it so far (maxskitchenandgarden.com). Thanks.

I am trying to list my categories next to “about me” and “contact me.” Is there any way to do this? I tried doing it using the header widget, but it puts them in a different place – too far to the top and left (or right). I don’t see any other widgets that might help.

Any suggestions or fixes would be great. Thanks.
