I’m glad it’s working well for you now! Thank you for your help in spotting errors. I would like to give you a mention on my website, and link to your site, if I may. Would you mind if I do this? And do you have a particular site you would want me to link to?

1.1.2 released! Calendar dates now have titles when you hover over them. I can’t find any more bugs, but your keen perception may run across something else I missed. Thanks again for spotting these problems!

Version 1.1.1 with the bugfix for the next navigational link in the calendar widget is up. This evening I should be able to release 1.1.2 with the fix for the title issue when hovering over dates in the calendar.

Thanks for noticing so many things! I was testing the navigation, but I have a penchant for not noticing the difference between March and May, so I just overlooked the directional selector problem. Easily fixed though. I’ll post the updated version in about an hour.

I have fixed both problems: the issue with calendar navigation links for sites using pretty permalinks, and the issue with activating/deactivating the plugin causing the calendar to be removed from the sidebar. Please upgrade your version to 1.1 and let me know if you have further problems! And if this solves it, don’t forget to mark this topic as resolved.

There is another small bug I found, though it shouldn’t keep you from using the plugin. Specifically, the calendar does not generate proper titles for the individual day links (in the default widget, this allows you to hover over days in the calendar and see the titles of posts on those days). I will release 1.1.1 with the fix soon.

Thanks for pointing this one out. I never tested the calendar for compatibility with nice permalinks. I’m working on redesigning the calendar now. When it’s done, the calendar code will be more in line with the new code WordPress uses with the calendar widget, plus calendar links should work whether you have Default permalinks or the more easily readable ones.

    Hi Ron,

I am going to mark this problem as resolved. With version 1.0.1 of the plugin, selecting All Categories in the calendar widget does show the correct posts. The fact that deactivating the plugin removes the widget is not a bug, but a slight inconvenience that I am planning to fix in the future.

Please don’t hesitate to start a new support thread if you have further problems!

    Hello Ron,

Sorry for taking so long to reply to you! I thought I had subscribed to emails for this plugin, but apparently not. Anyways, I just upgraded to version 1.0.1, which should fix the problem of the calendar widget not showing posts when you select All Categories.

I may look into trying to figure out a way to keep activation/deactivation of the plugin from removing the widget from your widget area, but this seems less urgent and it will be a fix for the future.

Let me know if you have any more questions, and I appreciate your pointing this problem out to me.
