In reply to: [Ryu] Format image displaying wrongHi there Kathryn. My apologies, to be perfectly honest, I was not familiar with Ryu and assumed it was a WordPress Plugin, I see now that is is a theme. Either way, the suggestion I made above still applies. Sorry about that ??

Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Ryu] Format image displaying wrongHi there guanmu,
Sorry I am a little late here but the information you have received so far is correct. Unfortunately, we’re unable to make changes to your php.ini file on your behalf, nor set up WordPress plugins for you as it falls outside the scope of (mt) Media Temple support. I would echo Kathryn’s suggestion on possibly hiring a server admin or someone familiar with this practice to help you. On the other hand, if you would rather save yourself the search, we do offer a special paid service call CloudTech and one of the things they can do for you is set up and configure WordPress Plugins. More information on that is provided at the link below:

In reply to: Changed URL and now unable to loginHi there! I apologize for the late reply to this. It looks like you got things figured out, but yes, if your site is hosted on (mt) Media Temple then you can set up FTP access and access your files that way. If you are on the Grid, you can even access them through your FileManager. here are some articles on that:

In reply to: WordPress 3.5 High CPU usageHi there memesa, I concur with songdogtech, being notified for using extensive GPUs when using WordPress on (mt) Media Temple is usually the result of a plugin or theme running a faulty PHP process. Try disabling some plugins and see if you can isolate the problem. If you need any help on this, we’re on Twitter @mediatemple but we also have our amazing WordPress evangelist available to you: @mt_suzette.

In reply to: WordPress site hosted on Media TempleHi There pbowne,
First of all, I want to apologize for how long it is taking me to reply to this thread, usually I catch everything that mentions (mt) Media Temple here on www.ads-software.com but it looks like this slipped past my radar. I took a look at your site and it looks like all the thinks are properly using your domain and not you access domain and you previously mentioned it was. If you still need any help with this, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us 24/7 on phone, chat or Twitter. Technically, WordPress is outside the scope of our support but we are often able to provide a lot of usefully information and help out anyway.

In reply to: Lost login, p/w & emailHey there CECollege,
As far as WordPress is concerned, others here have provided some solid information. However, if you’re looking to gain access to a (mt) Media Temple account that you are not a listed contact on, but own, you can fill out a proof of ownership form and fax it in to us. More information on that is provided at the link below, however, I highly recommend you call in to our phone line for an issue like this.

In reply to: Multisite with Mediatemple (gs) preview domainHey there! Sorry to hear you’re having this issue.
The problem does not appear to be how you are using the access domain (preview domain) as you are using it correctly. However, “error establishing database connection” can be caused by a few things. I found this resource below that might be able to help you:
When you called into (mt) Media Temple, the agent was correct. This is an issue outside the scope of (mt) Media Temple support as it applies more to WordPress than it does to (mt) Media Temple products. However, we usually try to do our best to help regardless, and if we were not able to at the time, I truly do apologize, that is not the norm.
If I can help you with anything, please feel free to Tweet at me @mediatemple. I’m here 24/7 ??

In reply to: Issue: Posts automatically deletedHi carlitocenteno,
(mt) Media Temple will never delete posts in your WordPress blog. With the limited information I have right now it is hard for me to diagnose this issue. If you call in to (mt) Media Temple, which it sounds like you already have, we will take a look at your server and see if we notice anything that might be causing these posts to disappear. If the agent didn’t see anything when you called in, then the only other conclusion we could come to is that a theme or plugin is creating a process that causes this. You are welcome to call back in to (mt) Media Temple and give us more information you think might be useful to us helping you. We’re here 24/7 and are eager to get get to the bottom of this for you.

In reply to: 1-click applicationHi there. Thanks for contacting us here at (mt) Media Temple.
I am a bit confused by exactly the issue you are experiencing. If you’re hosting your website with us and not with Hostgator, then installing WordPress via the 1-click-install should be as simple as signing in to your AccountCenter and using the 1-click tool. The only other step would be to make sure the domain is pointing to your (mt) Media Temple server. I am including some articles that can help you with this. If you’re having trouble with anything I didn’t cover, feel free to contact us 24/7 on the phone, Twitter, or support chat.
