Hi MrMarco,
could you identify the plugin responsible for the additional OpenGraph tags in your code?

In reply to: [Facebook Page Publish] [Plugin: Facebook Page Publish] Could this be done?Hi machoka,
this functionality is part of the upcoming update (to be released soon).
Hi cyberico,
Thank you for reporting this strange behavior. It seems that other user recently observe the same problem, so maybe Facebook changed something in their API. I will try to fix this issue as soon as possible.

In reply to: [Facebook Page Publish] [Plugin: Facebook Page Publish] Custom Post TypeHi trancesetter,
the current version supports custom post types, so it should work. But since it does not, you could try this modified version of the plugin: https://pastebin.com/vtZC8Teq
To install, just go to Plugins->Facebook page publish->edit and replace the code in fpp_index.php with this new one.
Does this help?
Hi mimiburned,
I thought I had fixed this problem, but it seems that my fix was not working when the post was not sent from the wordpress default post editor. Sorry!
Anyways, here is a fixed version:
https://pastebin.com/vtZC8TeqTo install this version, just go to your WP admin interface, click on Plugins -> Facebook Page Publish -> edit and replace the code in fpp_index.php with this new version.
It would be nice of you if you could give it a try and report back whether it works for you or not.
I am still working on a major update, so I wont make this a regular update but integrate this fix into the upcoming version 0.4.
Thank you, too. I had a look at the html code of your blog and, as assumed, I found OpenGraph tags from another plugin. Unfortunately I cannot tell whether these tags come from Custom Meta or another plugin, so you would have to experiment a little.
Hi MrMarco,
It would help if you could post / send me a link to your blog. I can only assume that the Custom Meta plugin (or one of the others) adds OpenGraph tags to your html code – however, these tags are also used by Facebook Page Publish to tell Facebook wich title and image to choose. Such an incompatibility might be the cause for this problem.

In reply to: [Facebook Page Publish] [Plugin: Facebook Page Publish] respect the more tagFor me, “causing problems” = “not being respected”. I will have a look at this.
Hi sharonleelu,
did you install another plugin that uses OpenGraph tags? You can send me the adress of the blog in question to m.tschirsich [at] gmx.de
Hi Stuffika,
One of the admins of the page has to create the application which then can be used to write to its wall.

In reply to: [Facebook Page Publish] [Plugin: Facebook Page Publish] Custom TemplateHi Marlimant,
The position of the title (= link to your article) cannot be modified. The image is always on the left side (did you mean ‘right’?).
Hi mstracylee,
Did the solution of jacva7 work for you?
Hi jacva7,
Unfortunately, your blog currently seems to have some problems (I can’t access a single blog article), but I assume that there is an incompatibility with another wordpress plugin using OpenGraph-tags (perhaps one of your image gallery plugins).

In reply to: [Facebook Page Publish] [Plugin: Facebook Page Publish] respect the more tagHi c0c0c0,
The <!–more–> tag should be respected by the plugin. I can’t test it right now, but it did work some time ago. Are there special cirumstances under which the more-tag causes problems?
Hi macnmotion,
Thank you for your feedback! If I understand you correctly, you want the duplicate post to be treated by Facebook Page Publish as is it where a new post – i.e. the “has been published to facebook”-flag has to be removed from the copy?
