Sorry to hear that 9while9. We launched WPEC 8 years ago before all the awesome new responsive theme stuff came about and even before WP had any hooks and filters (back then WP advocated a thing called hacks – ewww long since gone).

Anyway we’ve almost got our core standards up to scratch and our next step will be to launch our theming / theme framework.

Very soon we will be releasing a new framework that is based off something a lot more more WordPressy then you’ll find WooCommerce canvas based themes. I can’t say what it is just yet… but its going to be good ??

Either way I wish you well with your future sites and I hope you’ll stick around and look at our new theme work when we push it live.

Sorry you had a bad experience using Google Code. Things have been improved… new team… new support systems… and new tools at Github. Please, I would encourage you to have a crack at submitting your issues / code in Github.

The guys have overhauled the way they handle issues and requests and I’m sure things will get looked at in Github a lot more promptly.

@triplemoons – Sorry you feel ignored. Its not intentional. I’m not in the forums myself and I spend more time on the Blog and working on other things. You have to believe that we do the best we can with a small team – that literally caters to hundreds of thousands of users with thousands of different server environments.

Your permalink issue isn’t all that common an issue because I too am running a number of sites, including getshopped.org that is running 3.8, and its running just fine. So are hundreds of thousands of other sites.

So there must be something on your environment that isnt playing nice with our 3.8.x branch. Whatever the case may be, Mychelle who is a colleague of mine is on your case and hopefully you get some resolution ??
