I saw in the log the posu to instagram failed for the following reason:

Image : Failed.The aspect ratio is not supported.

Does the plugin not crop the image before posting?

We signed up to the premium trial and I have authorised the plugin for Instagram access. However, the new post didn’t appear on Instagram.

Is there anyway to publish a test post without having to create a new post?

Thanks. When creating my own app, I followed the instructions here to create a test API call for submission:

So I follow the instructions above to create a facebook app. But under the App Review section, it also instructs to request permissions for “pages_manage_posts” and when I try to request advanced access for this permission I get the same message as in my first post which is:

“To request advanced access to this permission, you need to make a successful test API call.?“

So the question remains, how can I make this API call to allow me to continue the setup of the instagram posting app?

The link you posted to the alternate solutions app for posting to Instagram doesn’t appear to be working (link times out). However I would be interested in this if the price is reasonable and it can help us avoid the manual setup required with the free version.
